Well this is awkward...

Ava

"Hey Lucas, Im Ava?" I do confused.

"I am your date for the afternoon, sent by Miss Rachel." he says smiling.

His smile is enough to melt a room but then his eyes are perfect and hes just so wow. I blush and follow him to his car where he opens the door for me and then proceeds back to his seat.

I quickly pull out my phone and text Rachel,
"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME I WAS GOING ON A DATE WITH A HOT BOY"

"YOURE WELCOME" she texts back almost instantly.

I quickly put my phone away and begin to ask Lucas about today.

"so what are we gonna do today." I ask giggling.

"its a surprise" he says and winks.

He drives for a little bit until we reach a small parking lot with a little trail leading into the woods. He hops out and comes and opens my door. I see out and he grabs my hand and leads me down the small path. I follow curiously until a lake starts to come into view.

We keep walking along the lake until we reach a clearing. There on the ground is a picnic blanket and of course, food.

I smile at him and he shows me the picnic and we both sit down. He brought some ham and cheese sandwiches, carrots and of course, chocolate over strawberries. These are all my favorite foods so I squeal in delight.

"was that a squeal there Missy?" Lucas says winking.

I blush in embarrassment and he laughs at me.

We continue to eat the food until its all gone. He grabs my hand and pulls me sp I'm standing up.

"get on my back." he says squatting.

"no, im to heavy for that." I say backing up.

"Ava get on my back, you are not!" he persists.

I jump onto his back awaiting his reaction on my weight.

"wow, you're lighter than I expected" he says laughing.

He starts to run up a different path while I am screaming at him to go slower and he is laughing so hard.

We finally get back to a different section of the river and there is a jet ski parked there.

Lucas puts me down and begins to hop on.

"come on, its okay. Just hold onto me and you won't fall."

I curiously hop on and wrap my arms around him. He begins to drive it and I grip tighter. If you can't tell, I am terrified.

He starts to go even faster and my nerves ease. The wind is blowing my back and slight water is spraying up on us. I laugh which causes him to laugh. Were just having a blast until splash. Some how we tipped and are now in the cold lake. We continue laughing as Lucas helps me up back onto the jet ski.  We keep laughing, its like we never stop. Its a great date except there's one problem.

I remembered too much about Hayes last night to know how I felt....

Sorry this is a crappy chapter but I have swim at 5:30 tomorrow morning so I have to sleep!

I might update soon but you never know😂
