Danny's P.O.V.
My eyes stung slightly when I woke up the next morning.
Deciding it was time to forget about my past, or future, however you want to view it, I set out to the deck to try and find a new set of clothes. To be honest, I was absolutely rotting with oozing smells.
I calmly strolled below deck, till I found the hatch that led to the main deck.
It was early morning, by the looks of it.
Fisher came out of the kitchen, with a bucket full of some questionable substance and threw it out over the railings and into the sea.
I walked over to him and greeted, "Morning Fisher."
"Ahoy, Lass. Wha' can I do fer ye?" He asked with a bright smile on his face.
"Might you by any chance have an extra pair of clothes that will fit me?"
He looked down at my body and then down at his. Looking back up at me, he raised one eyebrow.
"Uh, I don't reckon so, Lass. Why don't ye go 'n try askin' Skipper or Chip?" He suggested.
"It's worth a shot." I said, shrugging my shoulders.
I set off to find Skipper first; he's usually the easiest to find between him and Chip.
To my great surprise (note sarcasm) Skipper was in the Galley. Ever since I've been on the ship, most of the time you'd find him there for some odd reason. He wasn't even really helping Pepper, he was more there pestering him.
"Ahoy, Lass!" Pepper greeted me with a bright smile. Ever since I've helped him that one time, he's grown quite fond of me - all of the men actually.
"Hello Pepper." I greeted back, with a friendly wave.
"Wha' can I do fer ye?" Pepper asked.
"Actually, I was looking for Skipper." I replied.
"Me?" Skipper asked, looking a bit surprised before shrugging it off.
"Yup." I answered, popping the 'p'.
"Well wha' can I do fer ye, Lass?" He questioned.
"I was wondering... do you by any chance have an extra pair of clothes I could borrow from you?" I asked politely.
He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "Why would ye needs some o' me clothes?"
"I'm in dire need of a pair of fresh clothes and a bath." I explained.
"So that's where th' smell was comin' from, I thought 'twas maybe a dead rat again." Pepper commented.
"That is so rude." I gasped, my mouth hanging open with disbelief, while they just burst into chuckles.
After calming down, Skipper said, "I'll go check fer ye, Lass, but I be most certain I don't 'ave."
Sighing, I turned to Pepper after Skipper had left. My stomach made a wailing sound and I looked down at my torso, blushing deep red from embarrassment.
"Starvin'?" Pepper asked, humouring me.
"A little." I said sheepishly.
"Go call th' scallywags t' th' mess 'n I'll make sure ye get yer fair share o' grub first." He said, giving me a wink.
"Sure," I gave it some thought and then asked, "...but how am I going to get all of them there?"
"Oh, don't worry about that, th' moment ye say grub, they'll come runnin'." He said, giving a short laugh.
