Danny's P.O.V.

"Did ye write this?!"

"Perez?" Theo looked absolutely baffled.

"Did ye write this?!" Perez, who I finally recognized, shouted once more.

"What are you talking about?"

"Did ye write this?!" He repeated for the third time.

What on earth is going on here?

"Did I write what?!" Theo said, shouting back.

Perez surged forwards and roughly shoved a piece of yellow parchment in Theo's face.

Theo pulled his head back to get a better look, which appeared to be of no use so he ripped the paper out of Perez's hand and sent him a glare before looking down at the piece of paper.

Theo's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, "I don't understand." he simply said.

"Ye don't understand?! How do ye nah understand?!" Perez yelled furiously, his face turning a bright shade of red.

"It just says 'I know you killed him!' how is that supposed to be of any use to me?!" Theo said, getting fed up with him.

I just stood there, beyond confused and still trying to figure out how someone can just drop from the sky - although I have succeeded in doing so before, and tried comprehending what they were arguing about.

"'tis all ye needs t' answer me bloomin' question!"

Something on the back of the piece of paper Theo was still holding caught my eye. It looked like some sort of single word written on the back, but I was too far away to properly see what it said.

"It's barely even a question!"

Ignoring their childish bickering, I shuffled towards Theo and snatched the parchment from his hands. This caused both of them to freeze in their wrangle and look at me with curious gazes.

Keeping my eyes on the piece of paper, I studied it carefully. I went to sit on one of the crates behind me, but I miscalculated the distance between my bottom and the crates and missed it completely. I landed on the deck with an 'oomph.'

I blinked at the sudden loss of height, but didn't ponder on the situation for too long, seeing as how I am quite used to my lack of grace and locked my eyes back onto the piece of parchment, not even bothering to see how the two men had reacted.

I studied the note with great intentness. The handwriting looked oddly familiar; the way their 'e' always ended with a swirl and how their 'y' constantly twirled with an extra curl. It had a sort of hidden softness to it but how some of their letters were made sharply showed a fierceness about them. You can learn a lot about a person by simply studying their handwriting.

Flipping the note, I realized why it had seemed so familiar.

Theo and Perez were both still staring at me and when I looked up and met their gazes, they both rose their eyebrows in question; it was a bit comical actually. I merely showed the back of the paper as an answer.

"Blimey, I didn' even notice it." Perez said giving Theo an apologetic look, while scratching the back of his head. Theo slapped him over his head and gave him an unimpressed look.

Theo's expression changed to one of thought and suspicion, "Who did you kill?"

"Aye?" Perez asked, clearly having been lost to the world of daydreaming.

"R.C. wrote on the note that he had knowledge about you killing someone, who did you kill?" Theo asked while simultaneously taking a threatening step forwards.
