Danny's P.O.V.

"How about we get you out of here?" Theo asked, still smiling down at me.

I nodded my head furiously and quickly added, "And get me some food." to which Theo chuckled loudly.

He grabbed onto my hand and we began running towards the forest, but Darius swiftly jumped in front of us with his sword unsheathed.

"And where do you think you're going, hmm?" He questioned with a sinister smile adorning his face.

Theo stepped in front of me, holding me behind his back, while unsheathing his sword as well, "Out of here, that's where."

Darius gave a small step back, a look of indifference slipping onto his face, "Well, if that's the case then, you're more than welcome to go..." he gave a slight pause before his lips were graced with a sinister smile once more, "but you have to leave the girl."

"No!" Theo protested immediately.

"Is that your final answer then?" Darius asked with an eyebrow quirked.

"Yes." Theo said with confidence.

"Very well then." Darius said calmly before leaping forwards with agility.

Theo dashed forwards as well, pushing me towards Williams. Williams held securely onto my shoulders, while Theo and Darius started clashing swords against one another.

Their swords met with an astounding force. Threats could be heard going back and forth from one to the other. Both their mouths were tightly clenched and their knuckles were turned a pearly white. They both gave a loud animalistic growl before Theo took an unforeseen step back. This resulted in Darius tripping over his own feet and landing face first into the ground in front of him.

Darius furiously pounded onto the earth's surface and hurriedly tried to jump back onto his feet, but wasn't quick enough. Theo took his sword and held it defiantly to his throat - daring Darius to try and get out of this situation. Darius held his gaze with anger burning deeply into his eyes.

Darius' gaze slipped away from Theo for just a moment before returning just as quickly as it had left. The movement was missed by all except apparently me. My eyes slipped towards the direction his eyes had sneakily darted and noticed one of his men were silently slipping his sword from its holder, his attention solely focused onto Theo's head - Theo being oblivious to what was happening behind him.

The man, or rather boy, took small silent steps towards Theo. He was sure to keep his steps slow and steady, as to not cause anyone to draw any attention towards himself. He brought the blade high over his head and it didn't take me much further to figure out what was about to happen.

I grabbed onto the handle of Williams' sword before pushing him away and slipping the sword from its sheath. I gave a mad dash towards the boy.

The boy's eyes widened when I jumped in front of him and his sword - blocking the blow. The sound our swords emitted didn't go unnoticed. Theodore had jumped at the sound and his head whirled around. The moment his mind clicked at what had almost happened, his face darkened.

I released my grip from the sword and let the blade hang loosely at my side. The boy did the same, seemingly having decided to rather not continue with his shameful actions.

"You are a dishonourable man for trying to cheat." Theo said darkly before lifting his sword high into the air and running at him, full force.

Darius' shook the shame off and matched Theo in his movements. They fought with agility and poise but they were both slipping because of exhausting one another.
