I couldn't believe it. I was in Las Angeles! Starting over with my new apartment no parents no rules well besides no animals but I don't really want one so whatevs. I just seriously can't believe it I got a chance to live the life I always wanted to live. Ugh! All I need is a job and how hard could that be?
Apparently it was really hard. All I wanted was a good job waitressing or anything I could possibly do. Why was it so hard I had been walking up and down Sunset Blvd. for so long trying to find a store that needed to hire. I was just starting to give up when I came across a record store with a help wanted sign. Finally! How hard could it be at this point I would do almost anything!!!
I walked into Amoeba Music and almost skipped to the front counter I was so excited. I mean I had always had a small obsession with my mom's old record player and I just loved the old feel of it. The lady behind the counter introduced herself as Jane and seemed really nice and laid back. "Do you still have a job available?" I asked hesitantly. She smiled at me and nodded her head and told me to follow her to the back room where we could discuss the details and the actual task at hand.
I left the store and hour later with my schedule and employee key, and get this Jane is giving me 34 bucks an hour that 4 times minimum wage! I dropped by a staples on the way home and got a calendar to hang on my bare fridge.
I got home to find that David was gone and had moved everything up stairs and did his best to organize the boxes by there label. I smiled at the note he had left me on a napkin. I suddenly felt home sick and quickly forced back the tears not wanting to admit it. I picked up my phone and texted my mom ,Got a job at a record store for a great amount to get me going. Love you.
I stood staring around at the empty apartment with the few boxes I had in the living room. I heard the buzzing and got off the only chair I had to answer, it was my mom telling me congrats and that she loves me so much. I really had moved and it was just sinking in. No depending on my mom anymore I had to do this alone! I sighed and went to go sleep on my blow up mattress. Tomorrow was going to be a busy day of un-packing and buying furniture. And it was only the beginning.
Don't worry louis is coming to save the day just one more chapter with out him in it and it won't be long!!!!
