Date: September 17th, 2021.

Time: Around 9:45AM.

Location: Dakotas' Home.

I woke up after getting a good nights rest at about 9:30 that morning. I laughed as I looked at Tori, it was like the second she hit the bed she passed out. I began my morning like I always do: Get up, turn on the TV, grab a monster and check the news. But this morning, stuff was a little different.

"Possible Threat Of Severe Infection After A Breach In The CDC Containment Last Night."

This headline frightened me just a little bit. But out of curiosity, I clicked on the article to only hope that this would be already under control.

The paragraph underneath the title made my stomach hurt:

"After A Possible Terrorist Attack, As Stated By CDC And FBI Officials, The Containment Center AKA: The SCP Containment® Was Breached At Exactly 2:37 This Morning. Police And Other Officials, As Well As CDC Workers, Confirmed A Toxin That Had Leaked Out And Infected Some Of The Scientist and Researchers Formally Alive During The Attack. It Is Still Unknown To What This Toxin Is, But CDC Workers And Researchers Are On The Clock To Figure Out What This May Be, As Testing Has Already Begun."

Wow, I thought. That was pretty nerve-racking. After brushing off the thought of a possible apocalypse, Tori walked slowly over to get her coffee that she always makes at night.

"Good morning sweetie!"

"Oh, good morning honey! How did you sleep?"

"Good" she replies as she grabs her coffee.

I grab my monster and we both set down together on the couch in front of the tv. Just as we get comfortable, we hear a knocking on the door.

"Who is it, Dakota?"

Of course, I have no idea who would be at our door, but I suspected a possible Girl Scout, or maybe someone selling stuff for their school. As I get up the knocking turns into banging. At this point, I grab the gun off the kitchen counter and slowly approach the door. I peer out the small circle about midways on our door that we use to see who is at our door. I don't know what was more confusing, the fact that the man was wearing army type clothing and had survival apparel on, or that he chose our house for no apparent reason.

"So who are yo-"

"Wait.... Chris?" I stutter as I come to see that It's one of my best friends from high school.

"Whoa! What are you planning on doing today dude? You going on a trip or something?" I say.

He gives me the most disturbing look I have seen in a while as he grabs my t-shirt and rips me outside.

"Hey what's your problem man? Can't you see that I'm trying to enjoy time with my-"

I stop myself immediately. I can see the fear on his face building and tears beginning to form in the pupils of his eyes.

"WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF THIS TOWN MAN! THEY'RE COMING FOR THIS TOWN NEXT!!!" I SAW IT ALL HAPPEN, JUST TRUST ME WE NEED TO GO PLEASE DUDE PLEASE!" My friend shouted loudly.

"Whoa listen Chris calm down dude you must be drunk or something, after all, I bought you like I don't know how many drinks the other day"

At this point, I was worried as he ran to his car and yelled, "You have made a bad mistake!"

I groaned and walked back into the house, Tori staring at me like I was a wild animal and she was trapped in the cage on the opposite side.

"Sorry about that! So where were we? What do u want to watch?"
