Daughter of the Alicorns

Shadows from the Past

I was going to stay with princess twilight until everything was arranged. I was guided through long crystal halways which seemed like a giant maze. Spike opened a pair of giant doors.My eyes widened in awe. The room had shimmery, luminescent crystal walls and a soft royal blue carpet. There was a huge king-sized canopy bed.
"It's perfect. Thank you!" I beamed.
"My plesure! Good night!" Spike said as he closed the doors.
I went around the room, inspecting every nook and cranny I could find. A beautiful crystal furniture set including dresser, wardrobe and couch.
I climbed into my bed and snuggled under my thick silk blankets. Laying my head on the pillow, I stared up at the top of the canopy as my eyes closed gently.
Blue smoke wrapped around me forming a vision.
I saw a white alicorn with a sun cutie mark. Her pink hair was up in a pony tail. She cradled a baby. An alicorn baby with whispy blue Hair and a gorgeous necklace.
I then saw a shadowy pony trying to the baby who cried in response. I couldn't bear it anymore...
I woke up in an instant. Breathing heavily for the rest of the night as a bunch of thoughts swirled through my head.
Who was the baby?
Who was that alicorn?
Who was that shadow pony?

Later in the morning I knew I had to find out the truth.
At breakfast I asked twilight if she knew of someone with a sun cutie mark.
"Yes! My mentor princess celestia has a sun cutie mark. Why do you ask?" She said eating her pancake.
"Um well I was wondering who her child was." I said.
"Child? Celestia doesn't have a child silly!" Twilight said laughing.
"Oh um ok." I said with a little disappointment"
It felt too real. I just knew something happened to that baby. And that shadowy pony? What could she want with an alicorn baby?
I then had a great idea! If celestia had a journal I could possibly find out the truth!
"So twilight, did celestia keep a journal?"
