Daughter of the Alicorns

Operation- diary theft

I let twilight accompany me to canterlot castle mainly because:
1. I don't know where it is.
2. I reduce the suspicion of another Alicorn.
Which is why I had to wear a plain dress to hide my wings and "blank flank".
When I arrived in canterlot I couldn't believe what I saw. It was the most beautiful city in all of equestria! Even the books I've read could not describe such beauty!
Fancy shops, ponies wearing gorgeous clothes.
The castle was breath taking.
As we walked in the throne room, celestia looked up from her papers with delight.
"Twilight! What a lovely suprise! And who is your friend?" Celestia asked.
I peeked out from behind twilight as princess celestia stared in shock.
"This is snow diamond. I came to give her a tour of the library." Twilight said.
"Oh is this the pony from the village in your letter?"
"Yes your highness." I said.
"Well okay." Celestia said quietly as we skipped off to the library.
While twilight was discracted, i snuck of to find that diary.
Think. Where would celestia hide a diary?
I wonder if she has a treasure room. Or a secret library. Maybe twilight's long talk about the libraries would help.
I tried to recall what she said.
There are four libraries in the castle. One of them is reserved for celestia only. Not even rest of the royal princesses are allowed.
That's it! The secret library. But where could I find it.
All of the libraries are connected by tunnels. Twilight had said that. So if I found the secret tunnels I could go throught and find that diary!
Running back to the library i thought about the plan.
"Twilight, those secret tunnels. Do you think i could see one?" I asked hopefully.
"Sure! Let me open the gate." Twilight said.
She then performed a spell which opened a hatch in the floor. I crawled in, down a ladder into a grey dimly lit stone tunnel. The hatch above me closed. I ran down the path. I then came to an intersection.
Starswirl library
Celestia library
Clover library.
I went down the celestia path, my heart pounding faster as I took each step.
"Why did celestia react to me like that? Was it something I said?"
I was still wondering that until I came to a dead end.
"What? The door!" I screamed then quickly covered my mouth.
If someone found me I could be locked in the dungeon forever!
I walked closer to the wall as I saw a crack. Well several cracks. It's a sun!
"But wait only celestia can open this!" I thought groaning.
I smacked the middle of the sun with my hoof when suddenly I felt a weird energy wave. The wall slid open.
It's as if this were my library...
On a pedestal, there sat a journal engraved with a sun cutie mark. I opened it until I came to the first article.
Dear diary,
This will be my private journal. So I'm princess celestia. I got married to a handsome prince named sky dancer. I was so excited to tell him the news of our child! I knew she would be a beautiful foal. When she was born I had a Giant party in her honor, which was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Night shade was an evil unicorn queen who was going to take my precious daughter's magic. Which would be disastrous for my subjects. My husband was killed in the battle to protect her. We drove them back, but night shade swore she would get her magic. I knew I had to protect my foal. I first erased everyone's memory except mine of my marriage, foal and nightshade. I named my foal snow diamond and gave her a necklace. It was sad. I had to do the same of another kingdom which was erased.
I had learned the truth. All from one diary entry. That's probably why twilight doesn't know. I'm the long lost daughter of celestia.
I then felt a gentle hoof on my shoulder.
