Everything I Thought I knew

Chapter Seven-

After all of the boring airport stuff Cara and I snuck off away from the other pack members to go sight seeing. We rushed over to the London Eye and got on it looking at all the amazing sights. Next we went to go see Buckingham palace and saw the funny hat guards, man are they ever serious... we also rode the double decker buses that they have there as well as visited the other very cliché tourist sites as well as the massive department stores, like Harrods, that weren't to far away from the hotel we were staying at.

We came back to the hotel we are staying at for the night with ten bags each. We walked into the lobby heading for the front desk when Jay came storming over effectively cutting us off, "Where in the hell have you both been!?!?"

Woah.... Well shit we are in trouble...

Well No Shit Cara! I retaliated back.

"Jay calm down we went sight seeing. You did say we could." I say averting my eyes in submission in attempt to please the alpha wolf in him. "And shopping, he did say we could go shopping." Clara pipes in and I send her a sideways glare. Not Helping Dummy! She grumbles back Well I tried....

" What I said was that we could go sight seeing all together as a PACK! We need to stick together, this isn't home Elana... You can't just go where ever you please without protection..." My head snapped up at that and I turn my glare onto my brother.

"EXCUSE ME! We can protect ourselves BOTH Cara and I, we have both been trained by the best fighters in the pack as well as you and Carter... We are by far the best fighting shewolves in the entire pack. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, say that we were careless and put ourselves in danger. We can defend ourselves you made sure of that yourself Jayson. NOW Where are our room keys!"

Carter reached into his back pocket and pulled out the room keys. Cara stormed over grabbed them and stomped to the elevator. I ran after her glaring at both the boys walking into the elevator just as it was closing.

After I closed the door and slammed the chain in I turned to Cara mumbling to herself... "Those jerks.... How dare they... the nerve... it's like we're children.... Ugh I can't wait to move out...."

I threw our shopping bags across the room with a huff just listening to my best friend ramble on.

My dads comments from before we even left for the trip started echoing in my head... "Jason, since you are the future Alpha it is your responsibility to escort everyone on the trip as well as to make sure our young wolves represent our pack in the best way possible. I have faith in you Jay, don't disappoint me... this task will let me know if you are ready to become Alpha or not. Elana, you are to help your brother... do you understand me? Do not undermine him or disobey him, you are to be the perfect Alphas daughter."

Well crap... I already fudged that up... "He's right.." I mumble softly.

That made Cara stop right in her tracks and turn her glare onto me, "Excuse me? Who's right?"

"Jay was doing his job as future alpha... and we were wrong.... We need to apologize. It was my fathers request that I was to help Jay and not undermine him or disobey him, I was supposed to be the perfect Alphas daughter."

"Well Shit... You couldn't of told me all these expectations BEFORE we snuck off and had fun?"

"I'm used to just getting to go off by ourselves, plus I was excited to be in a different country." I should really just mind link Jay and find out where he is so I can apologize... I know he shouldn't of been so rude about us being weak and defenseless when we aren't... but he was right about us needing to stick with the rest of the pack... You got that right dummy.... said a female voice in my head. Wait what.... I know that wasn't Cara or any of the other females in the pack. Wow, no wonder you disobeyed your brother... you're dense. I'm your wolf Ebony. Wait don't you have to find your mate before you can communicate with your wolf? You're special... and with those last cryptic words Ebony stopped talking to me.

"ELANA... stop zoning out on me... Lets just go apologize and call it a night I'm exhausted from our little tour."

I grabbed a room key and started walking down the hall following my brothers scent to find he was in his room he shared with Carter, who was also there.

I whispered "Here goes nothing." And I knocked waiting for them to open the door.

When they opened the door they were both in Pj Bottoms with their boxers waist band sticking out of the top and no shirt. So we walked in and they shut the door.
