The same night Stevie was home alone, it wasn't easy to just forget what happened earlier with Lindsey, it pained her to the core, she cared for him, and now she had to admit to herself rather than neglect the pain like it's ok that she indeed still had something towards Lindsey, and she hated that. A believer of spiritual cleanses she began to lit some candles around her living room, she had lost count after 20 candles that were placed around, some were near a window and a few on the floor. After the last candle she stood for a moment, taking in all the silence and the smell of rose pedals drowning the room. Not many know about her cleanses, or else they'd think she's a legit witch. Stevie sat on a soft pillow closing her eyes, inhaling and exhaling, getting rid of the negative feeling wasn't as easy, you'd think she's an expert on this stuff when really she has just started getting into these things, and at time it did help. Suddenly the sound of a knock interrupted her meditation, she stood up turning on the lights and checked the window to see Christine, a smile swept across her face and rushed to the door to open and realized it has just started raining hard, Christine held her fur coat she still had since the early 70's over her head and grinned "Can I come in?" Chris asked, Stevie without a hesitation moved aside letting her pass through "Come on right in" She said. Christine hung her coat and realized all these candles were set up in the living room.
"Were you cleansing?" She asks approaching the living room, leaning closer to a candle to take a wiff at it "Rose Pedals. Nice"
Stevie nervously pushes her hair behind her ear viewing the room "Uh, yeah. Just trying things"
Christine turned "You don't really cleanse unless you're heading on tour or having issues. Your more of a creative person to release any distress, what's the matter?"
At times Stevie hated that Christine knew her well enough to know this, it was hard to even stand in front of her knowing what she just admitted to herself in her heart and thoughts about Lindsey, although she did not want to get back into a relationship with him it was still hard enough to even reject him, and it wasn't because she had this urge to say yes to his request but more about knowing the feeling of rejection herself and it wasn't such a pleasant feeling. And it was very understandable being the one who has been with him for a very long time.
"I'm alright. What brings you here?" She asks in hope to dodge Christine's topic and walks over to a candle to blow it out.
"Leave the candles, it's romantic" Chris says with a very flirtacious smile and turns off the lights again "I came over to talk to you about what happened at the party"
Stevie's voice began to get dry "What are you talking about?"
"I noticed you and Lindsey seemed ... Distanced at the party, I mean one moment he has you alone to speak to you then I see you walk back in with a frown and Lindsey just randomly heads the other way with the same expression, did something happen?" Chris asked, even though it was seeming like she was getting clingy, it was actually more a concern now about what really happended rather then now trying to figure out what she had spoken about with him back there.
"It was like any typical conversation we always have, or should I say argument" She says sarcastically making her way on a couch, where now Christine followed along and sits next to her, wrapping her arms around Stevie's shoulder, Stevie smirked and held Chris's hand that was over her shoulder.
"About what?"
Stevie's smile disappears and looks up behind her seeing how close Christine was near, almost hypnotized by Christine's blue eyes, it caused her to smile again, Christine smiled back.
"What?" She asks.
"Your eyes..." Stevie says, glancing at both pupils that looked like they were growing, they say pupils grow when you see someone attractive or in the mood for a little fun, and it made Stevie to chuckle softly at that.
