I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. Wait! No! I did not mean to go to sleep. I wanted to talk to Trey about everything I grabbed the alarm and pushed the dismiss button on my phone. I noticed that the time was 6:10. I immediately hopped out of bed and made my way to the shower.
I was finishing up my hair when I heard the doorbell ring. I hurried up and slipped on my shoes while grabbing my bag. I turned off the light and made my way down stairs. I opened the door and Josh was impatiently waiting. He could never possess patience.
“Ready?” He asked.
“Of course,” I replied as we walked to his car.
We made it to the fair and the first thing that filled my senses was funnel cake. Gosh it was like the best thing that ever existed. I linked my arm in Josh’s as we walked through the fair. It was pretty packed and the waits for rides were close to the waits at amusement parks. I leaned my head on Josh’s shoulder as we made our way to the basket ball shoots. I couldn’t wait for him to win me a teddy bear.
As we walked through the crowd my mind lingered to Trey. I was so anxious to talk to him. I wasn’t quite sure if he even believed me yet. My mind drifted back to the kiss. God, it was amazing. I had missed his kisses so much and they were just so enticing and they reeled me in and kept me wanting more.
Wait! I was thinking about another guy while I was with Josh. Did this count as cheating? I mean I knew it wasn’t morally right to be thinking about another guy romantically while with your boyfriend, but I don’t think morals came into play when it came to time traveling.
Josh pulled me out of my thoughts when he shook my shoulder. “Yea?” I answered unsure of what the question was.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yea why wouldn’t I be?” I asked him.
“You were just kind of spaced out.” He replied. “So which bear do you want?” He asked me.
“The purple and silver one,” I told him as I pointed to it.
“Consider it yours babe.” I smiled and stepped back as he paid for the game. The man gave him three balls and if he made all three into the hoops he could get the bear that I had picked. I watched as Josh picked up one of the balls and stood in formation. He planted his feet and stared at the goal. He lifted his hands and released the ball into the basket. Swoosh! I being his personal cheerleader began jumping up and down and cheering for him. I watched him as he took the next two shots.

I went up and hugged him as the concession worker went to grab my teddy bear. “Thank you baby!” I said as I pecked him on the lips. The worker handed me my bear and I was smiling like it would be the last time I was able to.
