Hunter purred in contentment, and I realised that everyone was still staring at us. It was making me really uncomfortable, and I shot a desperate glance at the teacher, who, along with the tutors, was still in human form. He gave a slight nod and called attention back to him.

"Right! Go and shift back. For the first few weeks, we'll learn to fight only in human form." He dismissed us. I sighed, still pressed to Hunter's chest. I wouldn't be learning much of anything then.

I looked up at Hunter. His eyes glowed with happiness as he touched his warm nose to my forehead. I purred loudly. Very loudly. It echoed across the clearing, attracting attention from the tutors and pupils alike, most of whom were back from shifting.

The teacher shot us a pointed look.
See you soon, babeczka (cupcake). A baritone voice cut through my thoughts. If he could, I know Hunter would have been smirking as he turned and bounded into the woods. I span around too and raced for the trees, not wanting to be the only wolf there. I found my clothes, shifted, and changed into them, getting back to the clearing just as Hunter did from the opposite direction.

He saw me, met my eyes and started to walk towards me, but he was stopped by a seductive hand on his chest. It was his girlfriend. I don't know how the hell a hand is seductive, but she managed it. I growled, but not too loudly, making sure no one could hear me. My hands started trembling, so I shoved my fingers under my toes as I stretched, like we'd been told to.
I tried to steady my breathing as I watched Her and Hunter talk, getting angrier and angrier, jealousy writhing in my gut. I didn't have any right to be jealous. He wasn't mine, I reminded myself as I leant over sideways, still stretching. I turned my back on the pair.
The jealousy and anger were raging now, and my whole body started to tremble. It was going to be embarrassing if I lost control here. Just as I began to panic, a pair of warm hands slid onto my bare waist, a face buried in the crook of my neck, and tingles shot through my body again, while my muscles relaxed at the starting-to-become-familiar touch.
"Hey. You don't need to be jealous." Hunter murmured. How did he know?
"I'm not." I snapped.
"Mm hmm." was all he said, face still tucked into my shoulder.
I was starting to melt at his touch, which couldn't happen, and so, hoping that my so-called wolfy super-strength would kick in, I whipped around and shoved him as hard as I could in the chest, sending him flying across the clearing. Shit.
Though he had been completely relaxed as he stood with me, Hunter effortlessly twisted as he flew through the air, his form perfect, and landed neatly on his feet with a smirk on his face. I was getting very irritated with that smirk. Suddenly, I heard a scream from my right. "You b*tch! Think you can throw my boyfriend around?"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hunter's blonde girl come flying at me, and I had less than a second to react to save my eyes from being scratched out. Luckily, ten years of kickboxing training kicked in, and I ducked, sending her sliding across the floor, dust clouding her form. She looked shocked for a second, mouth opening and closing, gulping air like a fish out of water. She looked ridiculous, and I couldn't help the laugh that burst from between my lips. It echoed around the clearing, and I heard several sniggers from other students join it. Even the teacher was fighting back a smirk, and he didn't look like he was going to be intervening anytime soon. How very irresponsible. I grinned as she started to talk. "Stop it!" she shrieked. "Stop laughing!" I smiled wider.

"Stay away from Hunter!" she continued to scream. I still smiled, amused. "Go back to your no doubt fucked up family!" The grin on my face disappeared.

My eyes narrowed as a haze of red came over my vision. "What... Did you just say?" My voice is menacing. Deadly. I see her waver, but still she continues to dig herself deeper into the nice hole she just made for her self. "I said: Go back to your dysfunctional family." she snapped.
"I thought you said that. But then, I thought to myself: there's no way that she's. That. Fucking. Stupid." The clearing was completely, perfectly silent now. The onlookers watched with wide eyes. My own narrowed to slits, and a cold smirk wormed onto my face. I cocked my chin up, met her eyes with an icy glare, and with the coolest voice I could muster, I said "Fight me."
