It was nearly the end of second hour and I was excited to see the cast list. My second period class is drama and we are doing 'Romeo and Juliet'. As I read the cast list, I noticed that I got the part I was dreaming of. Romeo. Now, I need to make sure Brooke is Juliet. She's the only person I care for in the class. If she wasn't Juliet, I'd step down as Romeo cause I can't imagine having a makeout scene with anyone else. Hell, I'd rather be Oak Tree #2. And in case you're wondering, no, I don't admire Brooke for her looks. Don't get me wrong, she's stunning. Her beautiful golden-sun blonde locks, the voice that sounds like a thousand angels (and Ariana Grande) singing, dazzling hazel eyes that looks like she has the universe in her soul, and her deep dimples (my favorite feature). But I like her for her personality. When we first met, I felt like our hearts immediately intertwined. One can only picture her in the pink and red sparkly satin dress. I can't imagine any flaws. But everyone has flaws. Flaws and all. But I still have to dig deeper. I really hope she feels the same way about me. The females had a different cast list. In the crowd from the other side of the room, I heard a frantic "Yes!". Brooke came prancing towards me. "Hey Andy! Guess who I am?" I had shown I was nervous through the facial expression I made when I asked if she was Juliet. She squealed and hugged me hard. After she asked who I was, she grew even more happy when I told her I was Romeo. The bell rang and we went different ways. As we were leaving, she turned back at me. "Hey Andy! We have some rehearsing to do..." she said as she blew me a kiss. I pretended to catch it as I continued to walk with blushing cheeks.

POV: Bree

I was dreading school without Gunner. I was sitting alone while I was eating lunch. I'm pretty sure most of the school respects me becayse they let me have a whole table to myself. I guess losing your boyfriend is one way to earn everyone's attention. When it was the start of fourth period, I sat in a seat that I don't like to be. The back row. But it was still better than my regular because Gunner used to sit next to me. I didn't want to look towards my left. I'd be so paranoid, I'd probably sit there forever waiting for Gunner to fill that empty spot. "Okay class..." My teacher, Mr. Remmi said. "I know we are still broken up about the deatb of our beloved Gunner...". Im not sure if he is happy or sad, Mr. Remmi is mean. Like, alot, but he is nice on a rare occasion. I think from how I'm describing him, he sounds like a grumpy old man to you, but he's actually young for a teacher. He has nice black hair, but you can see purple in the right lighting. This was his third year of teaching and he hasn't really given much tests over the years, but he is serious when it comes to discipline. If he catches you with your phone once, he takes it away for the whole year. If you talk over him, he'll give you a full week of lunch detention. If you try to argue with him, he'll give you a week's worth of lunch and after school detention. I spent so much time with Gunner in this class, that I forgot how skanky all the girls in the class were. They purposely tried to get detention to try and get with Mr. Remmi. They didn't care that he was mean as long as he was looking good. This blonde guy that sat in front of me turned back and said hi. "My name is Elliot.
I've been here for years." "That's funny cause I never noticed you before." "Yeah... well I was just saying hi. And I thought that now you don't have Gunner, this is the perfect time to ask you if you-" I shussed him. "This is the worst time." He quieted down and turned back around. "Well, Elliot, it was nice meeting you!" "Yeah..." he sadly said. "Keener!" I heard Mr.Remmi shout. "You have detention for the rest of the week. I heard you talking. Who were you talking to?" Oh no. I hope Elliot doesn't sell me out. "Erm... just myself, Mr.Remmi." "Okay, Elliot. Mr.Remmi wasn't so nice. He didn't care if 4 of his students were brutally murdered. He wasn't like a cranky old man though. He was actually quite young. And cute too. He was in his early 30's but he could convince anyone that he was 19.
"So we have lost 6 students this past month, and I feel like it is the most appropriate to read the best selling book: Into the Darkness by Sidney Prescott." Xandir raised his hand. "Uhm, Mr.Remmi? Why are we reading a stupid book? Like with all of us in danger, who the he'll cares?" Mr.Remmi looked up at Xandir from his hard-cover book and didn't have a happy face. "Well Xandir, we NEED to read this. It's based on true events. The author, Sidney Prescott, has overcome what is happening right now. In her life, she has had ups and downs. In this book, you will find shocking information. Her mother was murdered in December 1995. Alongside her friends a year later. But the horror followed her to college in 1998. She lost more friends and learns frightening stuff. I'm not gonna spoil the book, but this is really interesting. The first 3 Stab films were based off of her life, actually. But she threatened to sue if they continued to use her stories. Louis raised his hand and talked without permission. "Hey Mr. Remmi, could we try to get her to come to Riverdrift to help us? I mean, it would be seriously amazing." All the students in the room were whispering in agreement.
