Chapter - 16 (VOICE OF HEART)

Navniti Residence :

It's a shining new morning..sun is shining to it's fullest..and everything seems to be new today..it's a saying... after every dark stormy night..there always comes a brightest morning.. and here comes the new day..with new hopes in their respective lives..
Nandini in her room ..getting ready to leave for college..just then Mukti entered inside her room..and saw her packing her stuff..
Mukti : "college jaa rahi hai?.."..she asked coming close to her..in a slow voice..
Nandini : "han..woh principal sir ka call aaya tha..kuch kaam hai unhe?.."..she replied without looking at mukti..and packing her stuff in her bag..
Mukti : "but kal jo hua..."..before she could complete..nandini cut her in between..
Nandini : "KAL KUCH NAHI HUA.."..she said looking straight into her eyes..without any emotion..mukti was again shocked..with her cold behaviour..
Mukti : "but nan..."..she was again cut by Nandini in middle..
Nandini : " am getting late..mai college mai milti hoon.."..she said and left from the room..mukti was looking at the door..with helpless eyes..
Mukti : "Kyu apne card KO apne andar kaid karke..apne apko maarhi hai angel...".. She said with a genuine worry for her soul sister..
It true..we all..try to bind pain inside us..we only want to prove in front of whole world..that we are very strong..nothing..nothing can break us..but we always forget one thing..that we can lie to whole world..even to our love ones..but we can never lie to ourself.. In some dark hour..we meet with our own soul..and then..we actually comes to know..that we are shattered.. Shattered in pieces..and we need..Yes ..WE NEED someone..to held us..to grab us..to lay down our head in their lap..and cry ..as much as we can..
Cocooning pain..inside us..binding it..within us..can harm you a lot..yes..a lot..it can actually leads you to the destruction..THE END of you..you can actually LOOSE yourself..

Malhotra mansion :

A loads of well known composers..writers..producers..B-town..are sitting in the living area..and manik came down..with the sane toxic attitude on his face..there was not a single sign of PAIN on his face..pain of his burned feet..he was taking slow and steady steps..while descending the stairs...
Just then ..he reached the last stair..he was about to fall..but Dhruv held him on time..Manik raised his face to look at him..And Dhruv smiled..manik also smiled back..
Dhruv : "tumhari shadow banke rehne ke liye kaha tha mujhe..tumhari STAR ne..".. He said as because..manik was about to leave his hand .but after listening such words from him..manik himself wrapped his hand around dhruv's shoulder..on which he smiled broadly..
Manik : " WO NA HOKE BHI MERE PAS HAI.."..he thought..and then Dhruv made him reach to the living area where everyone was waiting..all stood up to greet him..
Producer : "hello Mr.malhotra..I think you are not fine..I think you should take rest..And I think...".. He said and now manik was pissed ..he sat down in the sofa..and placed his legs on the table and sat comfortably..he had already cut him in mid..
Manik : " Mr.khurana..don't you think..ap THINK jyada karte hai?.."..he asked raising his eye brows...
Manik : "sochne ka kaam mera hai..apka nhi..ap sirf utna kijiye Jitna apse kaha jaaye..".. He said in a dangerous.. Yet fully MANIK MALHOTRA attitude..which really scared all of them..
Manik : "now I think..we should leave..we are late..so let's move..".. With this he tried to stood up..but Dhruv placed his hand on manik's shoulder..
Dhruv : " manik..you are weak.."..he said in worried tone..
Manik : "that's why..going in search for MY STRENGTH..".. He replied with a smile..and Dhruv was amazed..with his answer..
Manik : "ab chale..." He said with a smile to Dhruv..on which he nodded his head in yes..and both of them left..
Space Academy :
By now Nandini reached space...she is in principal room..after sometime..she came outside..
She was walking in corridor..just then she stopped..her heart beat was racing faster..she can sense something around her..she turned around..but found no one..
Nandini : "why i can feel HIM?..esa kyu lag raha hai..tum yahin ..mere aas paas ho..manik?.."..she thought..and roamed her eyes..all over the corridor..but found nothing..
So keeping all er thoughts...in a side..she start walking towards the music room..and entered inside it..
Just when she entered inside the room...the person in the corridor..hiding behind a pillar..came in front..his face was covered with the cap of his jacket..he wore a dark brown aviators..and he was none other than MANIK MALHOTRA..
Manik : "kese har bar..tumhe mere hone ka ehsaas ho jata hai..tumhare pyaar ki koi intehaa hai bhi ya nahi?.."..he thought..in disbelief...
Still he isn't able to figure out ..what is the limit of her love..but little he know..there is no limit..no limit of her love for him..he had broke her..crushed her soul..betrayed her badly..but still she love him..Yes! she still love him unconditionally..her love for him is pure..pure more than a sacred water...

Music Room :

She sat down on the chair..and she found guitar on the side table..she stood up..and came towards it..she touched it very lovingly..and recalled..how he always carry guitar with him..everywhere...
Nandini : "tumhe guitar se kitna pyaar hai manik..."..she said with a smile..and start tuning it...and start singing..whatever comes in her heart.

(She start singing..her voice was very melodious..yet so painful..she reminisced..how she felt him in the corridor..and how she always try to find him..in the crowd,.no matter how hard she deny..but SHE WANT HIM)

(she sang..with her eyes closed..wholeheartedly..reminiscing his smiling charming face..a smile automatically touched her lips..after listening her melodious voice..manik came near the door of music room..and leaned on the wall ..to listen her voice..)

(she opened her eyes..and her first line depict the emptiness of her life..how much incomplete she is..just then she felt him again..still singing..she tried to look outside from the glass door..but can't see him..as he was standing beside the door..)

(she sang..with her eyes close..and this was it..her lines pierced his heart..something very deeply pricked inside him..he was feeling the pain of her heart..)

(she sang with her eyes closed..recalling all their good and bad days..everything came as a film in front of her..)

(she then opened her eyes..and start walking in the class..still singing..recalling how they both again came face to face..how he betrayed her..she sang last line ..with a big complaint..as what he get by doing all that?..but he actually achieved..he was only listening her voice ..standing outside..)

(she was singing the lines..as she mean it..she neither can't stay with him..nor can be apart from him..and same goes with him..but SHE RESIDES IN HIM...she completed the song..and sat back..and start recalling her fights with him..just when she joined the college..a smile was on her lips..but there was tears in her eyes..of pain..)

Manik : "mai ..tumhare aankhon se yeh churane he wapas aaya hoon ...nandini.."..he thought..when he looked inside..and found her teary..just when he start moving..he felt immense pain in his legs..as yesterday night..he didn't applied ointment on it..but he still walk..suddenly he tripped and fall..there was no one to hold him back..the corridor was totally vacant...
When he fell..a pot..which was in a side also fell down..because of his touch..nandini instantly came outside after listening the voice..but what she found in front of her eyes..made her shocked...

Manik lying on the floor..he was holding his thighs..clearly indicating how much pain he was suffering from..She ran towards him..and bent down...
Without any rational thinking..she hugged him tight..and he was stunned..firstly she came running to him..then ..she hugged him tightly..
Nandini : "manik..kya hua?..dard ho raha hai?..tum..tum gire kese..aur..."..she was continuously blabbering..just after breaking the kiss..but he placed her finger on her lips..and she stopped abruptly...
Manik : "shhh..relax..mai theek hoon.."..he said in a soft voice looking deep in her eyes..she looked at him..very lovingly..he removed his finger from her lips..
Don't know..what magnetic effect..this person has..that he always pulls her..towards him..from the start..she without thinking..again hugged him tight..this time..to make sure..he is real..he is HER MANIK..
Manik : "nandini..shhh..am fine..shant ho jao.."..he caressed her back..but she cling more him..and today after three years...both are feeling that they are same MANIK NANDINI...
She seems to be in no mood to calm down..her heartbeat..he can feel it..yes..it was running with a fast speed...
Manik : "MAA..am fine.."..his one word Maa ..made her broke the hug..and both start looking in each other eyes...
