"Chris this can't be happening", I said. The turbulence was bad. I could feel the plane shaking and bouncing in the air. It felt like the plane was being torn apart with us inside. I could hear the cries of little kids, the screams of their mothers and the prayers of their fathers.

I held Chris's hand and squeezed it. I knew this was the end. I looked into Chris's eyes, Chris my darling husband and the father of my four beautiful children.

I sent a small prayer to God as the plane started tearing apart. Lord please take care of my children and please save my husband, my Chris and take me instead.

I looked into my husband's eyes and said the one thing I meant at that point, "I love you Chris, with all my heart".

As soon as the words my mouth the plane started to fall.

DARKNESS. That was all I could see. I felt my life flash before my eyes. Page by page.

I saw my four kids. Jayden, the man of the house after his dad of course, who was eleven, Anabel my nine year old diva who would turn ten next month, CJ for Christopher Junior named after his father who was now five years old and last but not the least my beautiful daughter, nine month old, Camilla. I love them with all my heart.

I saw my husband. The love of my life, my protector and my everything. Our love so strong only death could do us part.

But this story doesn't start now but it started fifteen years ago. When I first met Chris.
