"Ccccchhrisss, Chris. Hi", I said stuttering like a fool and embarrassing myself. I knew I was red all over from embarrassment.

"This is the second time in one day I'm meeting or bumping into you. This is a huge campus and if I didn't know any better I'd say your stalking me."

" Stalking?" I said taken aback. What the hell? Who did he think he was? All because of he had the perfect body, perfect hair, with his beautiful piercing blue eyes... Ariana put yourself together and get those train of thought out of your head.

"I would never stalk you. Your not worth my time." That'll teach him to keep his mouth shut.

"Ouch. You actually hurt my feelings and to think I was actually coming here to make small talk. Anyway, who's your friend here?"

"Hi, I'm Lily", she said quickly before I could reply.

"Its nice to meet you Lily. I was wondering, Lily if you could do me a favor of convincing your friend to go on a date with me", he said with a smirk. I was in complete shock.
Date with him. Absolutely... not.

"Do you usually ask girls you just met out?" I said trying to add a little attitude to my words.

"As a matter of fact, I've never done this before. You're a first."

"Well if you might know I'm not interested Mr Chris, so if you wouldn't my mind Lily and I are going back to our dorm." I dragged the silent Lily along who was staring at Chris as if he was an alien. After about five minutes she snapped out of it.

"Are you silly Ariana? The hottest guy I've ever met and I'm sure the hottest guy you also ever met just asked you out and you turned him down. I'm so jealous of you right now. He didn't even look at me. Are you insane or just stupid?" At the last part of her words she had begun to shout and people had started giving us weird looks.

"Will you keep it down. I'm not interested in guys right now and besides he seems like the player type. I didn't come to college to get my heart stomped on by some pompous guy. I'm here to achieve my dreams."

"Whatever", she said and stomped off.

School blew by like a breeze. My days were spent with Lily or being stalked by Chris. He was still being persistent over the dating thing but I'd started to like having him around. He was becoming a very good friend of mine. He would make me laugh, annoy the hell out of me and then cheer me up when I was down. He was growing on me.

Three months had already blown by. I had gone home twice and had missed Chris the two times I was away. After a month on campus Lily had gotten a boyfriend, Ben. They when so cute together but sometimes I felt like the third wheel around them. Whenever Ben would come over, I had to make an excuse to leave so it didn't get awkward for us.

During these times, I would go over to the library and Chris would pretend to bump into me. We would then go to the library and talk for hours or skip the library and get something to eat. Though I would never tell him, I was starting to like him.

He wasn't as snobby as he portrayed himself to be. He wasn't actually player like I initially believed but had actually had only three girlfriends in the past. He was studying business administration and marketing and to why I believe life is so unfair, he was also a genius. Between him following me around and never studying for tests, he still managed to be the top of his class. Why did he have to be so perfect? It took me ages to prepare for my exams while it took him no time at all. He didn't even study.

"Ariana", I heard Chris call bringing me out of my train of thoughts. I was on my way to the library as usual after vacating my room for the two love birds.

"How do you always know when I'm going to the library", I asked a little annoyed. I've been asking him every time he pretends to bump into me but he still gives me the same bull shit answer.

"Its fate."

We walked over to the library in silence. Me annoyed at him and he relishing in my annoyance.

I went on to move to my quiet place in the library, still giving Chris the silent treatment, and picked up my favourite romance novel. As usual I hadn't even read a page when Chris started speaking again.

"How about a game of twenty questions."

"If you haven't noticed my dear Chris, I'm not talking to you." I went back to my book but as usual Chris wouldn't let it rest.

"But you just did. Besides it would be fun."

"Fine." I knew Chris if I didn't agree his pestering would just get worse.

"Okay, so I'm going to ask you first. What's your worst memory?"

"The day I walked in on my brother shagging up a girl. The horror of seeing my brother's junk in another girl still lives with me." With that said Chris burst into laughter. He was laughing so hard people had started staring and the librarian had started giving us dirty looks.

"Who says 'junk'. Only you Ana, only you. Now your turn." He said wiping the tears from his eyes. I had gotten used to him calling me Ana. It was all part of the Chris package and complaining about it was too tiring.

"Moving on, how come you've only dated three girls."

"That's because I only date girls who are worth falling for." I felt the blush spread on my cheeks. He secretly was implying I was falling for.

Questions continued to go back and forth like that, from favourite colour to best memory to best food. We got to ask all the questions we wanted to ask for so long. Sometimes the questions got deep and other times the questions were relatively easy to answer.

"Now its my turn. Are you, Ariana Anderson, a virgin?" I felt as if I'd been slapped across the face. I wasn't prepared to answer questions like that and I was pretty sure I was red all over.

"Tttthhhhat. That is none of your business."

"I'll take that you are."

"OK. I'm a virgin. What is it to you? Your definitely not one so why do you have to ask that?" Suddenly I felt Chris stiffen and go quiet he didn't speak or made a move to answer my question.

After an awkward silence, he finally spoke.

"I guess it's your turn." I felt confused. Why did Chris' mood change so suddenly. Then the answer slapped me right in the face.

"Your a virgin. The great mighty Chris is a virgin." I felt like it was my turn to go laugh my ass of but I didn't. My view about Chris suddenly changed. Every bad thing I ever thought about him disappeared from my mind.

"Yes, I'm still a virgin. You might think that I sound like a girl for saying this but I only want to sleep with someone I love and that just hasn't happened yet."

"You know what, Christopher Williams? I'll go on a date with you."
