The year passed quickly and the last day of classes was a Monday.
Lily, James and Teddy walked down to breakfast and sat at the Gryffindore table.
Lily sighed.
"What's wrong Lils?" James asked through a mouthful of bacon
"I don't want to go home." Lily pouted
Teddy thought for a moment.
"You could come home with us." He suggested
"You know Professor Mcgonnagal is NOT going to allow that. Lily's her grandaughter!"
"I won't allow what Mr. Potter?"
Lily jumped at her grandmother's voice.
"Grandmum!" Lily exclaimed, hugging the headmistress
"Hi dear." Professor Mcgonnagal said "Now what won't I allow."
"I suggested Lily come stay with us beings you're so busy during the summer." Teddy spoke up
Professor Mcgonnagal smiled.
"Actually, I've made arrangements for you to stay with a former student of mine." She said
"Who?" Lily asked
"Mr. Lupin just suggested him."
"Yes!" James exclaimed.
The three children smiled, Teddy hugged Lily and James laughed.
"Let her breath Ted!" James said
Teddy let go of her and his hair turned pink. A couple of Slytherins laughed and one exclaimed "Look at the puppy and his pink fur!"
Lily turned her hair pink and growled at them.
"I'm a pup too." She yelled "Do you have the gall to pick on me?"
The Slytherins stared at her.
"If you can't pick on me then don't pick in him! You bloody death eater wanna be's!" She yelled
The bullies sat down and the three friends stormed out of the great hall. They were walking up the steps and were about to pass the portrait when Teddy stopped her.
"Lily." He said
"Yeah Ted?" She asked, spinning around her hair still pink
"Thank you." He said "For standing up for me I mean."
"Hey." Lily smiled "Us pups have stick together don't we?"
Teddy shrugged and the three continued to walk.
The original Mauraders looked at one another in their portrait and smiled.
"Those three." James began
"Are going to be a handful." Sirius and Remus finished
