The Girl with a Soul of Silver

*Blue's POV*

My name is Blue. I'm sixteen. I'm an Aura Guardian. And I've been dead for two years-or so everyone thought.
   I sacrificed myself alongside Ruby, so all of our friends would be safe. I knew it was unlikely I would make it but I had to protect all of these people who were as close to me as family. I was in a coma for 8 months after that. Only Ruby knew I was still alive. To the world both of were gone. We never went to find our friends, afraid of tearing open old wounds.  Otherwise life was good. I was stronger than  ever, I had amazing Pokemon, I had Ruby who was like a brother to me, and I had all the books I could ask for. Yet something was always missing ever since that day two years ago.
   Of course I missed them. I missed my Twin brother, Red. I missed my great friend, Yellow. I missed Sapphire who was as close as family. And I missed the other Dex holders from Jhoto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova.
   That just wasn't it though.
   I missed him. The guy who always made me happy and could always make me laugh even in the darkest of times. He protected me from everything especially my fears. I could tell him anything without worrying. He was always there by my side to stand up for me, to support me, to defend me, to protect me. I was never afraid to be myself in front of him. He knew everything about me. He was the first to know about my Aura and the only one that knew about the terrifying Panic attacks I had and even the first to know about my extreme phobia of Moltres. He was the one who was always there to catch me when I fell, the one to pick up all the broken pieces in my life. He was heart of Gold in my life. He was my Best Friend.
   His name was Green Oak.
   The only guy I had ever loved and I lost him but I kept him alive and that's all that mattered.
   For he was my world, my heart, my heart of Gold.
   Green is my home for there I will forever be myself.

"Ruby when are we going to go find them and tell them?" I ask one of my best friends.
"I don't know Blue." He replies.
"It's been nearly two years."
"Yeah. Do you ever miss him?"
"Everyday since I last saw him. What about you?"
"I miss her a lot, I just wish things had all happened differently."
"I know we can't stay in hiding forever. I mean it would be great to see everyone again but I'm afraid that if we go back that he'll have moved on. I can't see that. Not seeing him for two years has been hard enough but seeing him with someone else would be........"
"I know what you mean. But we have to let everyone know we are alive. If things don't work out we can always go away again. Beside we have each other right, Sis." Ruby smiles squeezing my shoulder.
   We had always been close but we had gotten very close over the last two years. He was like a brother to me. He reminded me of my twin brother Red. Ruby was all I had after what happened, when we died.

*Flashback*

   We where fighting Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua. They had all banded together hoping to take over the world.
"We have to get to the boss headquarter." Red shouts.
"Come on we have to hurry." Black yells.
"No, stop." I shout.
   Ruby and I walk in front of all of them.
"We're sorry but we can't let you guys do this." Ruby responds.
"We can't just let them take over." White says.
"Exactly. We aren't going to." Ruby replies motioning to me and him.
"We need all of you safe. You mean the world to us." My eyes lock on Green's. "I'm sorry but it's for your own good."
   I focus my Aura creating an unbreakable barrier around all of the Dex Holders except me and Ruby. They all had confused and scared looks on there face.
"Don't do this you two. We can help." Yellow shouts.
"No you can't, not if you come with us. You're helping us if you stay here safe." I respond the back of my throat burning.
"Ruby don't do it. You can't do this alone. Please Ruby let us help you." Sapphire says pleadingly.
"I'm sorry Saph. You just have to trust us." Ruby responds sadness visible in his eyes.
"Blue don't do this. I can't let you do this. You guys won't make it out alive. Blue please just let us help you." Green says pleadingly.
"I'm sorry I can't. We might not come back, but all of you will be safe and that's all that matter. You'll be safe." I mutter the last part tears stinging my eyes. I turn towards Ruby, "Ready?"
"Yeah." He responds.
"We'll never forget any of you. We love you all." We both say and then start running the other way, towards headquarters.
   We can hear them call our names in the distance. I can feel the way all of them are beating on the Aura barrier. We stop at the door of headquarters.
"We did the right thing." Ruby say putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I know. Thank Ruby." I smile hugging him, blinking the last few tears out of my eyes.  "Are you ready?"
"Yes, are you?"
"Yeah, let's get this over with. If we didn't make it out of here Ruby you were like a brother to me, never forget that."
"I won't. You were always like the little sister I never had. I love you lil sis."
"I love you too, Ru."
   We rush to the top stairs of the building where the three bosses are.
"Well if it isn't the two troublemakers." Giovani snickers.
"Ready?" I ask whispering to Ruby.
"Yeah." He says back. "Ruru Earthquake."
"Blastoise Surf." I say.
   We quickly return the two Pokemon not wanting then to get hurt. I used all the strength I had left, forging my Aura with the attack. The attacks combined causing deadly tidal waves and finally an explosion. Then everything went black.
'Ill always love you Green.'

*End of Flashback*

"Ruby, I've got an idea."
"Go on."
