dear whoever's listening, 

calum introduced me to luke. he seems really nice. he always asks me if i'm okay whenever my smile fades. i can tell he'll be a good friend. hayley is in the hospital. i can't visit her. i have too many bad memories that my doctors say are bad to think about. i miss her. i miss her voice when she laughs. allison stopped coming for awhile. demons are horrible. she showed up at 4am crying. she said something about her boyfriend hitting her. i hated to see her crying, but i guess that's how i made everyone feel around me.

i visited hayley's parents. they told me she'll be home in a few days. calum said i should ask her out. i don't know if i should. my grades are getting better. i've gotten accepted into standford and yale. my parents don't know. i doubt they'd let me live in the states by myself. i'll have to ask hayley where she applied. i miss you, hayley.
