"He kept rambling nonsense and his voice kept cracking like a little boy going through puberty!" Rose guffawed.
"Then what happened?" Sam asked, leaning towards me now since Rose couldn't stop laughing.
"He sneezed really loud," I finished off blandly.
Sam, Oliver, Antonio, Jake, Nathan and Drake, all bellowed over with laughter. It got to the point where they were clutching their stomachs, and wiping tears away.
"Oh man! That is gold! Please tell me someone took a video," Antonio breathed out.
That made Rose laugh even harder, and between the choking, she pointed to herself. That threw the boys over the edge. They howled in laughter and then they'd slow down and look over at Tristan, and they would burst again. I grinned seeing the boys' reaction to Tristan's breakdown from earlier. Where was Tristan between all of this?
Well, he just happened to be watching this scenario from the couch in the far end of the Journalism room. If it weren't for the fact that his sneezing hasn't stopped ever since this morning, Tristan probably would've landed everybody in this room in the hospital by now.
That's what his expression happened to be saying.
"It wasn't that funny." Tristan huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. I looked up from my desk that I was sitting at and saw Matt standing there with a flat look on his face.
"May I come in, Ms. President," he asked in a mocking tone, eyeing the rest of the group in slight disgust.
"Why of course you may, Mr. I'm-A-Great-Example-Of-Bad-Sportsmanship," Rose replied in a high-pitched voice..
I scoffed and Matt shot Rose a murderous glare.
"Come in, Matt," I said, standing up and walking over to him.
I mean sure Matt was annoying, but it's my duty be professional when it comes to dealing with my... whatever opposition party members are called.
Hehe, duty.
"I need your party to put up posters for the annual Gaming Association Workshop," Matt said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Before I could even open my mouth to speak, Nathan came up from behind me.
"Oh, you mean the annual Nerd-Con?" Nathan asked in a teasing manner.
Matt grew furious. His hands were gripped at his sides now and his face was growing redder by the second.
"It's not Nerd-Con, Nathaniel," Matt growled out.
Oh no he didn't.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, calls him Nathaniel.
The sound of Nathan's teeth gritting together made me flinch and I immediately stepped in between the two.
"Whoa boys! Back away from each other right now," I ordered, looking between Matt and Nathan. "Matt, we'll have the posters ready and up by Friday. Text me all the details about it, and leave before Nathan punches the living daylights out of you."
It was a good thing that Matt was smart and left before Nathan could take another step toward him. But since it was Matt, when he reached the door, he turned around one last time and glared at Nathan. Nathan took a step forward, but stopped himself from going further than that.
