'Oh look at Luke... He's so hot with his baby blue eyes and perfectly quiffed hair!' I thought to myself while staring longingly at him during math class.

"Ms. Becker would you care to answer the question?" I quickly got out of my daze as Mrs. Roberts called my name. There wasn't a single thing written on the board so I couldn't make anything up.

"Um 4?" I said sheepishly. She gave me a stern look knowing I wasn't paying attention.

"Would anybody like to help Casey out?" I couple hands went up but I was too embarrassed to pay attention.

"Luke"

"X is equal to 6 and Y is equal to 14" Luke said confidently. And,of course, he ended up being right. Ugh he's smart and cute. This is not helping my little crush.

Later that day I was walking to the hallway where I eat lunch only to be greeted by my friend, Calum.

"I heard about your slip up in math today!" Calum boasted, looking down at his phone "too star struck by Luke!"

"Oh shut up" I teased hitting him playfully on the arm. "You know if you really wanted to help me you could talk to him and find out if the feelings are mutual!"

"Maybe I already have" Calum winked at me.

I gave Cal a questioning look. Calum and Luke have been best friends since they were little. Calum and I have been friends for a long time too. For whatever reason Luke and I's paths haven't crossed much but that didn't stop me from developing some feelings for him the few times we did talk.

"Okay fine. Luke and I are going to a party this weekend you should come too!"

"Alright that sounds awesome"

"Wear something nice?" Calum smiled "for Luke... I mean"
