Meeting The Parents (Edited)

~ Selene~

Where am I? I think as I look around me to find that I'm in the forest again. Ugh not again. As I'm looking around I hear a 'Snap' of dried leaf's and sticks. Someone is here too. "Who's there? Come out from your hiding place?" I say snappy I want to wake up from this nightmare.

"My dear child you have grown a bit since the last time I seen you." The person in the dark shadows says. I can't see who it could be, but I know it's a man. "And who may you be?" I ask crossing my arms not really caring I just want to wake up from this hell.

"I am your uncle dearie. Just know I'm closer than you think I'll ever be." He says walking close enough for me to see his face. He looks almost like Kevin and I but with red eyes and white hair. "What do you want now?" I ask getting angry now.

"I want you to tell me where you are at. So, I can come get you?" He says pretty calm. "Uh no that's not going to happen, and I've got places to be right now." I tell him with no emotion in my voice. "Oh, is that how it's going to be you ungrateful child your lucky your father's ex-lover got to you first before I did." He says getting angry as he starts breathing really heavy like he was going to explode any minute now. Now I'm confused what does he mean ex-lover and get to me first.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I ask him confused. "Oh, you already know." He says walking off into the dark. Creepy much damn!

*End of Dream*

I wake up gasping for air. I look around to find that I'm in a room somewhere. Where the hell am I now? I think to myself getting up from the bed to walk to the door. To find that someone was trying to get in the room, so I get behind the door waiting for the person to get in the room.

Finally, the door opens slowly to reveal a boy that I don't know. Who the hell is in my room that I'm in. The person walks over to the bed sees that I'm not there. He starts to panic bad like he is missing something "Um are you alright?" I ask the boy feeling somewhat worried. "No, I lost the princess after the king and Queen ordered me to make sure she was well and awake soon. Oh no, I'm going to get in big trouble now." The young boy says looking scared for his life. Now that I look at him I think he is about 8 or 9 years old.

"Hey, it's okay little guy, I'm the princess so you're not going to get in trouble. There is no need to worry." I say hugging him. "Thank you, your highness." He say bowing to me.

"No, it's alright I promise and just call me Selene please. Now I want you to tell me your name little man?" I say with a smile. He looks at me with fear for some reason. "Hey, I'm not going to get you in trouble or anything I just want to know your name I promise." I say ruffle his hair getting a giggle in return.

"My name is Dean and I'm 5." He says with a smile. He looks older than he is. "That's a cute name where is your mom and dad?" I ask him because I'm going to send him back to his parents. "They passed away when I was much littler." He says sadly with tears in his eyes. Oh no not good. "Hey, it's alright Dean they are looking over the heavens proud that your being strong for them every day but now I want you to take me to the King and Queen." I say to Dean as I take his hand in mine. He nods okay and leads me to the door.

We walk down a lot of stairs to finally get to the bottom floor to walk into a Cindy. We continue to walk together until someone come running over pulling at Dean. Knowing me and Cindy kick the person in the leg. "Stop touching the princess you monster." The man said getting up with no pain nothing. He starts pulling on Deans arm then slaps him in the face. "How dare you touch a child like that?" I say in a low warning tone that made everyone who was in the room look at me in fear I rip the man's hands off Dean.

"If I ever see you touch Dean again or even hear about it I will personally kill you myself, Got it?" I hear Cindy say to him with venom in her voice as she picks up Dean in her arms walking away to look back at the man who just pissed himself. His cheek looks alright, but he is still shaken up from it. He got what he deserve for treating him like that.

"That was something interesting to watch." Cindy and I hear a familiar voice behind us as we walk to the kitchen to grab some ice. "Well maybe next time he shouldn't touch a child like that or in any way." I say to him as I hand Dean the ice for his cheek walking passed him. Cindy has gotten very over protect of Dean.

"Mother and Father would like to see you like now." Kevin says walking up next to me. "Alright lead the way then" I say looking at Dean and Cindy leaving them in the room before walking into the large room next to the kitchen. We walk into the room it's like a big ballroom.

"Your finally here" I see a man says who looks like the man in my nightmare. "You look just like him why?" I ask the man confused. "He is my twin Selene." He says walking closer to me. "Oh, that makes perfect sense." I say with a little sassy.

"My child it seems Cindy has taken a liken to Dean." The women say walking to the man. Who are my real parents. "Well one of your people here in the palace put his hands on him and assaulted him by slapping him in the face. Cindy and I don't take kindly to people who puts their hands-on kids in anyway." I say to them in a serious tone.

"Alright well it's great to have you home and alive finally." The woman says pulling me in a hug crying. I hug back to feel more people come in for the hug. "I think Cindy wants to keep him since he doesn't have any parents." I tell them all I think she feels like she needs to protect him and care for him like her own.

"Very well that's fine I'll have someone send her the stuff she needs to sign for it and do you think she knows what he is?" My father say to me looking a little worried. "No, I don't know why?" I ask him u really don't care what he is. "He is a hybrid vampire and wolf mixed. That's why his parents were killed because they were from different families that hated each other so much for centuries." He says to me. Oh, poor Dean at least you have Cindy and her mate now.

"Alright that's fine she won't care put him in a room across from her so that she'll know he'll be alright. We still don't trust that man." I say to them.

"Alright and I know you must be very hungry since you've been out for twelve hours now, so I'll have some food sent up for you and the papers to her room. We will talk tomorrow evening. Goodnight." My mother says to me.

This is going to be a long night I think to myself walking up to my room getting sleepy.
