Chapter 4: The Monster

Screw Pan, I'm sick of him. I can't believe he experimented with my blood, with my magic and used it to create something so deadly and awful. Now my essence will always be at his disposal and that makes me hate him even more.

-Going somewhere sweetheart?

-Get out of my way Peter.- I threaten him uncovering my hand.- Because if you try to use me again I swear you will die in less than 5 seconds.

-I have magic, I would cure myself.

-But deary, my poison goes through every magic. Even if your heart isn't in your chest, you're still connected to it, so you die one way or another.

-You don't have the guts to do it.

-You made me insane Peter Pan, you played with my mind and my heart and made me as deadly as it can be. You made me who I am today and I thank you because I'm going to be the one to kill the great Peter Pan, but only if you don't let me go.

-You know I can't let you do that.

-Pan, you used me to create the dreamshade! You twisted my mind, my magic, my blood, you used me and I won't let you do it again. So either you let me go or you die right here right now.

-Fine, go but you'll come back someday, and that day you will beg for me to have mercy upon you. And I won't have it. 

-Good. I love when you get angry.

-I can turn you back to your 11 year old self.

-For what? I love myself as I am.

-So that you can have a new start in the Enchanted Forest.

-Whatever just let me go.- Pan opened a portal and led Raven to it.

-And don't worry, I won't erase your memories of Neverland, just because I like to have fun.- And he threw her down the portal.

Raven appeared in this weird new land , a very foresty place where surprisingly there's a lot of people, full of people to die, Raven thought. She doesn't know why but she feels the need to kill, like she enjoys it, like it feeds her. She doesn't know if it's the curse, her insanity or if she has always been this way... She doesn't know who she is anymore, she has lost her way, her mind and her proposite in this little useless life she know has, travelling around worlds and going back and forth in age, just using and reusing her life like it doesn't matter anymore.

-Excuse me lady? What are you searching for?- Raven wants to kill the guy she has in front of her so badly, she wants to take out his heart off his chest and make it darken as a coal, but she can't, if she wants to have what she wants in this world she has to be clean...At least for the first month or two.

-Yes, I heard of an abandoned kingdom near by and I was sent to claim it.

-By who? All the royal family of that kingdom died years ago.

-The White Queen of Wonderland, she wanted to have a new extension here, to see what is in this realm.

-She's not planning on moving here does she?

-Oh, no, not at all. She just wanted to have someone watching over this land. Just to be sure that things are under control.

-And who are you, milady? You must be close to the Queen if she enmended this huge task to you.

-I'm her daughter. Raven White, you must not worry. I'll bring back joy and greatness to that ghost kingdom.

-Well Miss Raven, let me guide you to the castle of the dead Kingdom of Larrington.

-Yes, you are such a kind man, what is your name by the way? 

-Christian, they also know me as The Angel, milady.-Maybe he's not someone Raven wants to kill. No, she has heard his story, he helps children who have lost their way and guides them to their fate or at least just their parents. But what he's going to do now is, he's going to help her get people, not entirely necessary children, to her so that she can feed her thirst of blood.

-It's a pleasure to meet you Angel, you know, you don't have to just show me the way, you can accompany me in my adventures, if you like.

-Yeah, of course. What would we be doing?

-Oh, Christian, you are going to love the lovely surprises I have for both of us.

*SOME YEARS LATER....*

-I can't do this anymore Raven! It will drive me insane to see all this people die, and they people are going to kill you, or you'll simply die by yourself if you keep doing this so often.- Raven was staring at her heart, her almost entirely carbonized heart.- Please just try to control yourself, to keep it calm, at least for a month or two. I can't keep watching you like this, hurting others and even yourself....- They've had this conversation before and Raven would always threaten Christian with killing him if he'd ever question her methods again, but every time he brought it up, she would never hurt him, because she needed him.

-You're right, I'm going totally out of line, and I should really listen to you. You will help me overcome this, right?

-Of course, I'll help you. And you can still do it, just don't do it this often.

-No, Christian. I have to stop, like for real, no more killing. If I don't I'll die in less than a second. See this heart?.- She lifted her heart up so that Christian would see it.- One more person and I'll die. A darkened heart is more dangerous than a broken one. Want to know why?.- Christian nodded.

-Because it can be used to hurt even after you're dead. I have to find at least a temporary cure for my... Condition. I have to reverse some of the dark that is in my heart, but I'm too weak right now to do it.

-Then I'll find you one.

-And why on earth would you want to help a monster like me?

-Because even if you've killed all this people, you're my master, you're my guide and without you, The Angel will have lost it's way....
