Apparently they put a tracking device on Shatter. We also found out her real name was Samantha Richards. Her and the Swordsman have no connection prior to her kidnapping. When we followed the trackers, it lead to an empty apartment the first time, and the second time, a mansion in the middle of the woods. The mansion was owned by Drake Birch, founder of Dragon Weapons Inc. He's in Japan at the moment, so we can't bring him in for questioning. It's possible that he was allowing them to stay there, but considering how high profile Birch is, we've ruled it out. It's more likely that they broke in.
Anyway, when we got there, the Swordsman and Shatter were eating. One of my colleagues knocked the Swordsman out cold and we brought them in. While we were interrogating them, the Swordsman manged to escape. We put Shatter in a holding cell and for several weeks, there were no murders involving the Swordsman. Then someone bailed her out. They must have been really desperate to get her out, considering they payed thirty thousand for it. The day after she got bailed out, I got seven files on my desk. The Swordsman was at it again.
