Hello, my name's Jim Davis, I'm a homicide detective. I was just transferred here from Detroit. I'm using this journal to document how I'm doing in the department. Anyway, the reason I was transferred was because the last detective who was here resigned. I looked at his work, it was brilliant! 37 successful cases in one year. That's going to be hard to amount to.
It was my first day on the job, and the second I come in the door, I get a case. When I got to the scene of the crime, I was greeted by 3 mutilated corpses, all wearing similar clothing. I assumed they were part of a gang. They all had a strange symbol carved in their foreheads, something like a circle with an x through it. It's not the first time I've seen it, I just can't put my finger on it......
After doing some work, collecting evidence and such, my shift ended and came home. I'll record any other developments tomorrow.
