Sam's POV

" What?! No that can't be possible! I won't go back there! " Ashley shouted.
" Guys we have to, police teams have gone missing up there because they don't understand how wendigos work. We have an idea how they hunt. " I informed them.
Emily stood, deep in thought, subconsciously biting her nails.
" I'm not going back! I nearly died! " Jess crossed her arms.
" Jess if there's a chance to cure these people.... I'm going. " Mike looked directly at me, slightly nodding his head.
" Mike, what if we found Josh's body? " I shuddered.
" I saw Hannah drag him away, when she could have killed him on the spot. You don't think she left him down there ? " Mike spoke slowly.
" Wait you think Josh could be a wendigo? No way! " Chris protested.
" It's possible, if Hannah left him down there and he didn't know how to get out. I read the flamethrower guys journal, it said the wendigo spirit will start to take over when you're really hungry. Then when you eat someone you... " Ashley couldn't finish her sentence.
" Sam are you lying to us? " Matt said.
" What? No! " I retorted.
" Sam I think you've had too much to drink, party's over guys, we'll discuss this tomorrow when you're all sober. " Mike slurred and passed out on the couch.
Jess rolled her eyes, she wasn't extremely drunk.
We all went home and Jess stayed at Mike's to make sure he was okay when he woke up.
" Where do I live again? " I asked as my mind went blank.
" Wow Sam. " Matt laughed at me.
" I want a cheeseburger..... And friesssss. " I said and Matt laughed.
" You've went way over your limit Sam. I'll help you get home. "
" Mattttttt what about me? " Emily sounded offended at the thought that Matt was helping me instead of her.
" Stop being such a bitcchhh Em. " I said.
There was a long silence.
I was slapped across the face and I fell and hit my head off the ground and blacked out.

Emily's POV

" God what a bitch! " I yelled as I watched Sam fall to the ground.
Matt caught her and broke her fall though, how unfortunate. I wouldn't care if the bitch bust her head open.
" Em you didn't have to do that! " Matt yelled at me.
I shrugged my shoulders " Does it look like I care Matt? " I gestured to my face, which had a blank ' I don't care ' expression.
" Screw you Em! You've changed for the worst since I started dating you. You act like you don't care and you hate everyone! You're so self  absorbed and don't care about anyone other than yourself! "
I was stunned into silence " M-Matt I didn't mean to.... "
I looked at Sam's body on the ground, then up at Matt.
" Maybe the bitch slap was a bit too far... " I started biting my nails.
" Emily I'm sorry but..... I think we need a break. "
My heart shattered " oh my gawd Matt are you breaking up with me?! "
" Nononono I didn't say that Em, I just think we need a break from eachother for a while. "
My emotions were frozen, I couldn't feel anything.
" I-I thought you loved me.... " I stared into the ground.
There were mumbles from Sam as she started drifting back into consciousness.
" I'm gonna help Sam get home. " he said as he helped her to her feet, but she was wobbling all over the place.
" I'm really sorry Em. " he said as he disappeared into the dark night.
I've decided, I'm going to the mountains, if Josh is there, we can maybe save him. I don't want to lose someone else, but maybe he's already been lost. We can only hope.

OKAY SO I TOTALLY WROTE A CHAPTER FOR THIS BOOK THEN IT DECIDED TO NOT SAVE OR PUBLISH SO I KIND OF HAD TO REWRITE IT QUICKLY. That's why it's so short, I've left all my books on a break and I'm finally being responsible and updating them, because there are people who are waiting for an update and I'm just letting them down, so yeah I'm gonna be updating a lot more yay :) cya
