Angelica's pov

I know how close everyone one to Carol. Although I was fatigued and weak, I made sure to protect her. We have both been in and out of consciousness. I finally began to slowly push the door open to the small corridor we were trapped in for the past few days. Right below my wrist was visible before I slipped into the abyss of unconscious.

Daryls pov

I continued looking for her, walking through the tombs over and over. "Angel?" I whispered. As I walked down a corridor I noticed a small room with a hand sticking out through the small distance between the rusted door frame and the corner of the door. I opened the door to reveal my angel and Carol. "Shit Angelica." I picked up Angelica as she weakly threw her arm over my shoulder. "D-Daryl?" And it took all her strength to strain that small whisper, causing her to become unconscious. Carol was fully conscious but still in the same condition. She weakly stood up and grabbed my hand.

"RICK! RICK HERSHEL HELP!" The desperate tone to my voice made me cringe but I didn't care. I couldn't let Angelica die. I still loved her. I wouldn't admit that for shit but it's true. She could not die.

Ally's pov

My breathing hitched as I saw Daryl come in. Holding my mother. "MOM!" I yelped. She's dead. Daryl found my mothers dead body. The harsh reality hit me as my knees buckled. Before I could fall small yet strong arms wrapped around my arms. The second they touched me a fire went straight through my stomach, so I immediately knew Carl was the one who had caught me. "I got you ally." He cooed in my ear. I was a mess. "Pulse?" Hershel asked. "Faint but it's there! She was conscious!" I stopped sobbing, stunned by what Daryl had just said. "S-she's alive?" Daryl grunted in response. I scrambled to my feet, causing Carl's arms to leave my small waist. I ran in to see my mother, who was now fully conscious and looking pained. "H-hey love b-bug." She stuttered weakly. I wanted to cry at the sight. My mother was so strong. Between her past with an abusive father and my father leaving, she had walls that refrained her from showing emotion. But now here I was, falling for Carl. But I was ok with that. "H-hi mommy. It's gonna be ok. You're here now." I whispered sadly. "Is Carol ok?" She asked. She was practically laying bed, yet still cared for others. I smiled weakly at the thought. "Y-yes she's here mom. Don't worry." And with that her eyes fell dead. "M-mom?" Nothing. "Hershel what's wrong? HERSHEL!" He ran to her side. Beth hurried me out of the room while Maggie came running in to aid her father and my dying mother. All I remember is the familiar sting of heartbreak deep within my chest before passing out.

Angelica's pov

"Your a worthless child!" The belt came down on my back again, causing a Yelp of pain to strain itself through my body. My older brother Brandon wasn't here, he had run away because he couldn't take me getting beaten. HE couldn't take MY beatings. The thoughts made me bubble with anger, but pain soon consumed me.

...

"I love you angel. Always will."

...

"I'm not ready for a kid Angelica. I'm sorry. I love you."

These painful memories flashed through my bed as I laid unconsciously on the cold metal table Hershel operated on.

I jolted awake, my head throbbing. Daryl was by my side.
Ally was laying next to me, eyes wide looking pale.

"Hey angel."
