The Emo "Bad Boy" that stole my Heart.

"New Friend."

"Ivy I'm so so so sorry! Please don't leave me I need you. Promise me you won't ever leave me, okay?" Jesse said looking at me in the eyes.

"Jesse I'm sorry, I can't promise you that, but I can't promise to try?" I said with hesitation.

"Thank you.. Can you please get rid of that rope by the way?"

"Sure, I'll do that later.. I should probably go to sleep, we have school tomorrow."

"No. I'm not leaving you here alone tonight. I'm spending the night, no matter what you say." He said grabbing the rope and throwing it out the window.

Why would he want to stay here? Why does he care so much? I'm just another depressive girl. I don't matter.

"Fine. Just.. Don't do anything that'll get you caught. I can't risk my mom knowing you're here."

"Come on, lay in bed.. We should get some sleep for school tomorrow." He said leading me to my bed.

I walked towards my bed. I lay down getting under the covers.

Jesse gets on my best sleeping over the covers. He didn't need to do that. He's going to freeze at night.. I should let him sleep under the covers, I mean what's the worse that can happen?

"You know you can sleep under the covers right? You don't have do lay over them." I said.

"You sure? I don't want you feeling uncomfortable."

"Yea it's fine. It won't bother me at all."

He got under the covers and turned to my back. He was scooping me. Why is he doing that? But.. I liked it at the same time.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"What? I'm cold. Besides.. You're so huggable." He answered .

I turned around. We were both looking at each other, face to face. My eyes looking directly into his. I felt so safe around him.. I don't know why.

"What?" I said chuckling.

"Nothing you're just.. So beautiful. Why are you so beautiful Ivy? Explain that to me."

I couldn't help but laugh. I kept looking straight into his eyes.. I can't believe he cares about me so much, no ones ever cared this much about me. Ever... He's my only friend...

The next morning I woke up to Jesse gone. But there was a note on my counter.

"Goodmorning beautiful. Hopefully you slept good. I know I did. I woke up in the middle of the night to you hugging me sleeping. Too bad I had to get up. Well go and get ready for school little Ivy. Don't forget to eat breakfast. See you in school.
~Jesse."

I got up to get ready. I looked to my floor and saw Jesse's button up shirt. It was blue and green. I decided to wear it over a white tang top with some ripped skinny jeans and my white vans. I put mascara on and left with my hair naturally wavy.

I took my skateboard to school since I don't have a ride, but in my way to school.. A car pooled over next to me. I was scared. I could feel my anxiety building up inside of me. I was ready to run, but once the person rolled down the window, I recognized who it was.

"Hey Girly. Where you off to?" Said Naomi.

"Hey, Naomi.. Right? I remember you from the restroom." I said.

"Yea lol. Hey you need a ride to school? Come on. Don't want you to be late." She said unlocking her other door.

"Sure, thanks." I said with a smile on my face.
