DEAN
He strolled into the motel room, mind elsewhere, to find you curled up on the bed, groaning and clutching at your stomach as if you'd been shot. It sure as Hell felt like it, your organs clenching and twisting, agony gripping your joints, your entire body aching in relentless pulses. Your pained grunts drew him over, his hip colliding with the bedside table as he rushed to your side, hands hovering centimeters above your skin, fearing his touch would only service to worsen your discomfort.
"Oh my God. Y/n, where does it hurt? Do you need a hospital?" He asked, brushing the hair out of your face, his fingers prodding your right side, the pressure eliciting a moan from between your lips, eyes screwed tight as he unknowingly poked the source of your pain, your unruly organ fighting back against the contact by increasing the strength of your cramps, causing you to shudder when the next wave hit. Dean nodded, shaking his head as he retrieved his phone, intending to dial an ambulance. "It might be your appendix. Of all the things to bring a hunter dow-" he began, his words cut short by the weak shaking of your head.
"Its my uterus, dipshit." You hissed, pressing down on your lower abdomen, your body's only instinct to flatten the organ as one might sedate a violent criminal, police holding the offender to the sidewalk to restrain movement, unable to keep yourself from wincing. Dean stood in shock, unmoving, beside the bed, his body rigid under the weight of your words. When you opened your eyes, his jaw had dropped, lips mumbling words you could not hear, sentence fragments he couldn't align in a statement.
"You're kidding me, it's that bad?" He whispered, sucking in air as he winced, watching your legs kick helplessly against the enemy within. You groaned again, your entire body seizing in pain. Dean, realizing the extent of your pain, bent to kiss your forehead, his fingers smoothing over your face, checking for fever. He shook his head, lips pursed, before his hands worked their way beneath your body, heaving you into his arms. He carried you to the couch, laying you down as gently as he could manage, turning on the premium movie channel and plopping down beside you.
"Punch me if it hurts." Dean spoke, bracing himself as his offer left his lips. You smiled through the pain, brain hammering against the confines of your skull as you popped him, hard, in the shoulder, fist colliding with hardened muscle. He grunted, patting your hand, smiling weakly. You kissed his cheek and snuggled up to him, your hands still pressed against your feverish flesh, your stomach winding around itself.
"Sorry," you mumbled, clenching your teeth. Dean kissed your forehead, his hand rubbing over your back, his soothing circles slowly extracting the pain.
"S'okay." He whispered back, rolling his shoulder, promising a pharmecy run if you so wished.

CASTIEL
He clearly couldn't understand the logic behind your complaints, your stomach locking tight with cramps every time you dared to shift your weight, his eyes remaining positive, though yours were blazing with irrational fury, his hand reaching out to rest against your shoulder, giving you a reassuring pat.
"The Lord created this cycle, Y/n. You should be thankful that your genitals are in working condition." He insisted, your vision going red around the edges, hazy from your irritation. God, he wasn't even human, let alone a human female. He tilted his head at your exasperated huff, his eyebrows pinching in sympathy, his hand rubbing along your bicep, his arm slung around your body as it was, in an attempt to soothe you, hoping in vain that you'd come to see the light backing his statement.
"Cas, you'd be moody too if you bled out every month," you moaned, grinding your teeth as another bout of nausea took hold of your composure, bile rising in your throat like acid, scorching you from the inside out. Christ, you didn't remember signing up for this internalized torture. All you wanted was a handful of Tylenol and a mug of something chocolaty, you didn't care what, but instead you found yourself wandering the perimeter of a Devil's Trap, the demon within making snide comments about the security of your hygiene products, fueling your fury. The last place you wanted to be was out hunting, but Castiel had dragged you here despite your protests. "Can we just go home? I want to drug myself and eat my weight in cheese doodles." You mumbled, glaring back at the demon before returning your pleading stare to the angel's sapphire eyes.
"No, I don't believe that would be wise." Castiel replied, walking past you to where the demon was positioned, arms crossed across his chest, pissed almost as much as you were. "If you have anger, now is the ideal time to express it." He reminded you, gesturing to the demon. You cracked a little smile, rolling your shoulders back and preparing to take all of your pent-up hormonal rage out through a good old-fashioned exorcism, dragging the process out a tad longer than necessary for the insulting comments in regards to your current state. Once you had iced the demon, you turned to Cas, kissing him on the cheek, a strange sense of peace flooding your body.
"Thanks for taking me." You whispered in his ear. He nodded, offering a smile as he slowed his pace to match yours, the two of you moving away from the corpse so as not to attract legal attention.
"Of course." He whispered back. "Anything to distract you from the pain." You pondered this, stopping in your tracks, Castiel stumbling a few steps more before turning back to face you.
"Cheese doodles?" You asked, your voice stiff, smirking at his serious reaction, his finger lacing with yours, determination etched into his features.
"Cheese doodles, yes." He spoke in monotone, squeezing your hand as you walked together to the grocery store.
