Chapter 26- Commitment?

My eyes slowly open in a blurred mist, I take one hand and rub them to get back to realisation, and realise I'm in the space of Baileys room and there is no where else in this world I would rather be.

And then I see Bailey, such a cutie when he sleeps he's led there with his dark blonde hair just everywhere and his eyes smoothly shut probably having some dream about him being onstage as he always wanted.

I let him have a few moments and then I nudge him, he makes a large groan but then stretches his arms out and then grabs me into his reach.

"Morning beautiful" as he places a firm kiss on my forehead

"Helllooo sleepy" I tease

"Nice to see you" he laughs

"Bailey listen"

"What's up?"

"I'm afraid to lose you, I'm afraid I'm going to lose everyone I've ever cared about"

"I care too Erika, I won't leave you please know that"

"I just wanna make you happy"

"For god sakes Erika, I wouldn't have anyone else here right now apart from you.

And with that he then wraps me in his arms tighter, and this is the most security I've ever had. And then I believe his words.

"I really can't stay away from you Erika" as he gazes into my eyes

"Then don't" I plainly say

He then whisks me so I'm on top of him leaning forward with everything on show.

"Oh McConnell you are cheeky"

"You love it" he smirks

"It seems that way" ushering to the position I'm in.

"Erika I think you know I'm not that sort of person that is all loved up and goes on dates and stuff but..."

I nod trying to get him to finish the sentence.

"I suppose we could try, maybe to go out sometime like you know"

"You asking me out" I smirk

"Maybeeeee..." He flushes scarlet

"I suppose we could McConnell"

He smiles and then goes back to that intense gaze.

"Well Miss Brown, this is a very compromising position that your in."

"I guess so" I giggle

"Let's see what we can do about this"
