We were in science sat as normal, me just taking notes as Mr. John is telling us about photosynthesis and how the plants do this, creating their own food and ect...

Until I hear Chantelle (she's one of those scary, popular girls I don't tend to go near) and some of the other girls giggling behind me and trying to get my attention, so I just freeze and ignore it; they carry on until finally I promptly put my pen down and span round on my chair like a whirlwind.

Chantelle smiled at me and handed me a piece of folded paper, I give her an inkling of a smile back and with my hands shaking from nerves I hesitantly take the piece of paper, I then went onto spin back round on my chair and I hear the girls giggling again.

I take a deep breath and I open the paper very carefully so no one will see and it reads;

'PARTY TONIGHT AT CHANTELLE'S 9PM YOU ARE INVITED, DONT BE LATE BYOB'

I then frown for a second? And I think to myself just why? As my subconscious bully's me as per usual 'Ew Erika they are just taking the piss out of you'
I just roll my eyes and then well she's probably right this time. I then slip the piece of paper into my bag as Mr. John carries on talking about the life of a plant.

But I cannot get these questions out of my head like who's going to be there? Will anyone like me? What do I do? What would I even wear? And oh what the hell does 'BYOB' mean?! Of course I won't ask though! I'll look like an idiot as always.

I really try so hard to listen in this class, but this note has got me all stirred up inside my subconscious telling me one thing (which is probably right) and myself telling me another, I wish I had someone to confide it that would listen to me and that I could talk to properly. I find myself distracted from class, completely overcome with all this thought and query about this one note, I wish I could shut off all of this overwhelming thought that won't just leave me alone.. But I can't so I just try to stay quiet and pretend this isn't a massive deal to me.
