I hear the ambulance. I hear their sirens getting louder as they come closer. My father is screaming at them to hurry, but I know. No one is going to be saved today. There is just going to be the pain of today that is going to live on. As I realize this truth, all I can do, is stand still.

Beeeeep! I jerk awake and slam the alarm. This nightmare ratlles me more than the other ones, but I choke back the tears and get ready for school. I jump out of bed and do 10 push ups, sit ups and a plank. Then, I head to the bathroom to wash my face and put on my necklace. Nothing new. I get dressed in a dark blue shirt, jeans, and a black cap and go to the kitchen.

As I walk into the kitchen, I see that my dad is sitting at the table, drinking his coffee. Honestly, I'm not that hungry, so I just grab and apple, get my backpack, and head for the door.

" You were up pretty late last night champ," he says just before I reach the door. I knew he would never let this one go. I turn around to see that he is trying to hide his smirk. Great.

" Yeah, so," I say. I really don't want to talk about this at 6:50 in the morning.

" What were you doing?" He sets his cup down and stares at me. He's demanding an answer.

" Just talking dad," I turn around and open the door.

" To who?" he presses.

" No one," I say.

" Are you sure?" he asks.

At this, I just leave. I am not getting into this conversation with him today. I trudge my way to school, seeing all sorts of people. I just ignore them, as usual, and the morning goes as it usually does. I get to class and sit with my head down. I was about to fall asleep when Harvey walks into the room. There goes my peace.

" Hey, Antonio," he says.

" Hello, Mr. Dent," I say.

" How was the tutoring session?" he asks.

" It was Okay," I mutter and lay my head on the desk, thinking that this was the end of the conversation.

" I want to let you know that Isabella canceled the tutoring session today," he tells me while typing something on his computer. My head shot up at that. Now I'm starting to worry. Was I that bad of a student? Is that why she canceled? Did she quit?

" Oh," I say, " So, is that the end of it?" I ask.

" Not at all!" Harvey says, he turns his chair to face me. " It's not the end. I was going to tell you that she want you to meet her at the entrance after school."

" Oh, Okay," I say. He nods and goes back to what he was doing. I mentally sigh to myself as I feel a wave of relief flow over me. I probably look like I'm not excited at all, but on the inside, I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest.

The day went really fast. It felt like no class lasted more than five minutes. This is not a good thing. At all. The whole day my hands were sweating, and my hearts beating a thousand miles per minute. Plus, to add onto the list, I was trying to figure out what to say when I meet Isabella. The first time I met her I froze and acted like a complete idiot. I do not want to make a fool out of myself the next time I meet her.

It was finally the end of the day and I was just sitting in my homeroom seat and I have to admit. I was a nervous wreck. My butt was stuck on my seat and I'm pretty sure I would have sat their until the sun went down if it wasn't for Harvey.

" Shouldn't you get going kid," he says.

" Yeah, I'm on my way," I say. I got up and headed for the exit. I slowly walked out into the basketball court and headed for the entrance of the school. I never walk through the basketball court. I usually walk to the back exit to get home, so when I walked the the front, everyone stared at me. I was starting to regret this already. That was until I was met, once again, with bright green eyes.
