I woke up early on Saturday to plan my date with Isabella. I didn't have any idea what to do or where to go. When I looked at the clock it was 8:00. So I had two hours to come up with something.

I was sitting at the kitchen table for who knows how long with a blank mind. Ugh! I should've given myself more time to do this! I was thinking for so long, so when I looked at the clock it was 9:30. I have to pick up Isabella in thirty minuets and I will have nothing to do. I'm going to seem like a complete loser.

I was sitting with my hands covering my head when I heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen.

" Hey sport, whatcha doing?" asked dad. Hw went and started to fill up his coffee cup and leaned on the counter.

" Trying to come up with an idea for my date," I answered.

" Your, what!" Said dad. It completely slipped my mind that I didn't tell dad about my date. So I told him how I decided to text Isabella as clear things up and how I asked her to go on a date with her. Throughout my whole story, dad was smirking like an idiot.

" What are you smirking at?" I asked.

" My boy, is growing up so fast," he says. There were literally tears in his eyes. I rolled my eyes.

" Dad, don't you dare start crying, that's embarrassing," I say annoyed. He wiped his eyes.

" I'm fine. I'm fine." he says. " Where are you taking her?"

" I have no idea, and I have to go pick her up in 15 minuets." I sighed.

" Well, what did you do when you first met her." he asked. I thought back to when Isabella made me take a walk with her.

" Well, she made me take a walk with her." I said.

" Then why don't you just do that again? Just get to know the girl." said Dad.

" But we already did that," I said.

" So?" he says. " Do you have a better idea?" I thought about my options. Look like a dork in front of Isabella or take her idea and be less embarrassed.

" Fine, but I'll do it my way," I said.

" Good, what time will you be home?" asked dad.

" I don't know," I said getting up from my chair.

" Why so you mean, you don't know. Didn't you plan the date?" asked dad.

" I'm not an overachiever dad," I said walking away. He sighed and went back to making his coffee.

I went to my room and made myself look descent. I wore my blue jacket and jeans. I actually combed my hair today, and made it look nice.

I came out of my room and headed for the door when I heard a whistle.

" Snazzy," dad said. I rolled my eyes and left.

I walked to walnut street where Isabella's house was. I was sweating and shaking all the way there. When I got to her front door, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

I waited a few seconds when I was greeted by some guy as tall as me. I tried to make myself seem taller but it didn't seem to work.

" Who are you?" he asked in a really deep voice.

" Antonio," I said while staring at him in the eyes.

" Oh, sorry. ISSY! THAT GUYS AT THE DOOR FOR YOU!" he yelled.

Isabella came running down the steps.

" Ok I got it Johnny," said Isabella. This Johnny just shrugged and walked away. Not questioning anything as Isabella walked outside of the door. She was wearing a Grey hoodie and jeans with converse. Gosh she's pretty.
