Chapter Three: Time for Class!

Alice's POV

It was now time for class. I had told the others to see if they can find out more about our 'doppelgangers'. They seem nice though. They just bicker a lot. My class was Biology with Mr. Sullivan. I sat in the same seat I was in, 100 years ago, when we first met Bella, here in Forks. I saw Ashley my lookalike, and Dakota, Jane's lookalike enter the room.

"Hi! We're the new students! I'm Ashley Greene and this is Dakota Fanning." Ashley said. I saw the teacher look at her then me, then at her, and me again. He blinked.

"Okay, you can sit right next to Ms. Cullen right there." he said to her. I scooted farther to the edge of the table to make room for them. As they approached, I noticed that I couldn't smell their blood. But as she got closer, I could, but it was very faint. That was strange.

They both sat down and Dakota sat next to me, with Ashley on her right hand side. It was quite an interesting sight to see the other humans look at Ashley then me, and puzzle over. I was glad she had long hair and green eyes while I had golden ones and short hair.

"Hello. I'm Alice Cullen." I told Dakota.

"Oh, hi. I'm Dakota, but you probably knew that already." she said rather shyly. This was also one of the things I found interesting. Jane never acted like this! She was always confident. A little bit too much though, in my opinion.

"If you need a tour around the school, you can ask me." I offered. That perked her up.

"Really? Thanks!" she said, smiling. Not a fake, Jane-y like smile. A real smile.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Ashley's cheek lift up smiling at Dakota's eagerness.

Edward's POV

I wonder which double I had class with...

The door suddenly swung open and Jamie and Maggie went inside. They introduced themselves.

Jamie was the one that spoke. "Hello, I'm Jamie Campbell Bower and this is Maggie Grace." he said, gesturing to Maggie, who seemed quite embarrassed, judging on the faint blush of pink on her cheeks. Wonder why......

They sat across to me on the other side of the classroom. Dang it! Now I couldn't really ask questions... What do I do now? Maybe I'll ask Alice to accompany me to their house to spy on them later.
