Chapter Four: An Eerie Feeling...

Ashley's POV

We had just finished our school for the day. I saw the Cullens on the other side of the parking lot, across from our cars, staring at us. Typical, I wonder when they'll confront us about our real identities. Hope it won't be soon. We still need time to settle in.

I saw that Nikki had her back turned and she couldn't see me. I took this moment to surprise her and give her a good scare. Dakota was also with her, in the same position. They were both waiting for the rest of us and flicking through a magazine. I crept up behind them...

"Rahhh!!" I screamed. They both shrieked loudly and Dakota accidentally chucked the magazine in the air, making it land in a puddle.

"F*ck you, Ashley! Don't do that again!" Nikki said, shrieking her head off. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Cullens snicker at her reaction.

"Are we walking home? It's raining! Can't we just call Michael and Christopher to pick us up?" I whined.

"We're not walking, silly. They are picking us up." Dakota replied, picking the now wet and muddy magazine between her fingers.

"Eww! Yuck! Look at what happened to the magazine." Dakota complained. Nikki just ignored her, looking away from me.

"Oh, come on, Nikki, don't be mad at me! It was just a joke! I'm sorry!" I pleaded. I did this a couple more times and she finally caved in.

"Oh, fine! You're forgiven!" she said, exasperated. Michael's Holden and Christopher's SUV suddenly appeared around the block.

"About time you got here!" Nikki said, rolling her eyes.

"You're welcome, thanks Nikki!" Michael said. I laughed. Christopher joined in. Nikki glared at both of us.

"Sorry..." Christopher mumbled. I just got in with the rest and we drove off...

Edward's POV

We were watching Ashley creep up behind Nikki and Dakota. Alice was looking at her intently, trying to figure out what she was going to do since she couldn't see their future which was quite interesting to see especially when she's complaining about it...)

She suddenly screamed and Nikki, along with Dakota shrieked loudly and Dakota even managed to throw the magazine they were reading in the air and into the mud. Nikki suddenly screamed her head off at Ashley, her language seeming quite inappropriate for kids to hear, which Rosalie and Alice found quite amusing.

Ashley then pleaded for Nikki to forgive her saying it was just a joke and then they talked about two people picking them up named 'Michael' and 'Christopher'. A Barina and an SUV suddenly pulled up in the parking lot.

Emmett suddenly thought to me;

"If I have to guess, I'm thinking it might be someone looking like Eleazar or Carlisle.' he said. But he was wrong. The two people driving the cars got out and our jaws almost hit the ground.

The people standing there looked just liked Aro and Marcus! Except for the hair and eye colour. "Aro" had short, curly hair (notice the quote marks) and "Marcus" had his hair the same as Jamie. Nikki suddenly spoke.

"About time you got here!" she said, rolling her eyes. Rosalie was shocked at her comment. If this was the real Volturi, someone would've punished her for being so rude!

But the Aro lookalike; Michael, just laughed and said;

"You're welcome, thanks, Nikki!" and Ashley, along with the Marcus doppelganger just laughed out loud, making their other family members laugh along with them.

Nikki suddenly shot a glare at the one that's supposedly named Christopher and Ashley. While Christopher mumbled a half intelligible "Sorry", Ashley just ignored her and went inside the car as they drove off.

I was really curious now, and I couldn't wait to have the chance to spy on them later on!!!
