Chapter Nine: Visiting...

Tanya's POV

I still can't wrap my head around the idea of a parallel universe. Is this all true or just a setup? I guess we're about to find out.

We reached the front porch steps. I took in a deep breath. Wait, how come I can't smell their blood? Must be one of the flaws. Alice rang the doorbell. We heard voices from the inside. This one sounded like Esme's. Must be her twin speaking then.

"Maggie and Dakota, can both of you see who's at the door?" the voice asked.

Then there were footsteps leading to the door. The knob opened with a click and suddenly we were standing right in front of Jane and Irina's lookalikes...

"Oh, uh... Hi, Alice." Jane's lookalike stuttered. She said while staring at me with big, wide eyes in the palest shade of blue.

"Hi, Dakota! Sorry I'm late. I had to run a few errands. I hope you don't mind I brought my aunties and uncles along. They insisted. They said they wanted to meet you." Alice said cheerily.

"Aunties and Uncles?" I hissed under my breath that only us vampires can hear.

"Just go along with it." She said back.

"Oh, ok then. Why don't you come in? I'm Maggie by the way. And this is Dakota. As you can see she's rather shy." Irina's lookalike said, matching Alice's cheery tone. Even though she wasn't Irina herself, I still loved to hear her voice.

When we entered the house, there were only five or more people inside. Although I could hear some of them were upstairs. My eyes widened when I saw who was there.

OUR lookalikes (except for a Carmen one) and an Aro and Marcus lookalike. The Aro one was reading a novel. When Maggie passed by, he talked to her. His hairstyle was different to Aro's, it was short and curly.

"Hey, Mags! Who are your friends?" He asked curiously.

Maggie rolled her eyes. I was surprised by her actions. If this was the real Aro, I don't know what could've happened to her.

"DON'T call me 'Mags' and I'll tell you. By the way, do you know where Jamie is, Michael?" she asked.

"I WILL still call you Mags and I don't know where that stupid boyfriend of yours is." He said with a sly grin.

Maggie just rolled her eyes. Suddenly, a figure ran down the stairs. I got a shock when i saw that it was a Caius lookalike.

"Did someone say my name?" He said, grinning.

"Yes, your girlfriend's lookin' for you." Michael said, pointing at Maggie.

I still couldn't believe what I heard. Caius and Irina? Well, technically, not the REAL people/vampires but their lookalikes. Still, IT'S SO FREAKIN' WEIRD!!! I mean, Caius was the one who personally killed Irina...

Michael suddenly stepped forward.

"Hello, I'm Michael. You must be Alice. Dakota talks about you all the time actually." He said, grinning a mischievous smile at Dakota.

"Hey! I DO NOT!!! Don't listen to him, Alice! He's lying!" She said embarrassed, her cheeks, flushing bright pink.

"Oh really? Even ask Maggie! Maggie, does she talk about Alice a lot?" Michael asked Maggie.

Maggie didn't look at Dakota.

"Sorry, D. But you really do." She said awkwardly.

Dakota was appalled. You could tell by the look on her face. My lookalike suddenly stepped in and interfered.

"OK! Time-out! Just because Elizabeth, Rachelle and Catalina aren't here doesn't mean you can fight all you want." She said, flashing an icy glare to each and every one of them.

"Sorry, MyAnna." they said quietly.

The front door suddenly swung open and a Carmen, Esme and Maria lookalike entered, plus a redhead whose lookalike I didn't know.

The door then slammed close loudly because of the wind. The lookalikes were carrying plastic bags. they looked up and I could tell they were shocked by our presence. Alice could sense my confusion for the redhead girl.

"That's Victoria's lookalike. Victoria's the one who tried to kill Bella." She said under her breath.

I just quickly nodded my answer to her. Realization suddenly dawned on me. Wait... Wasn't one of them Maria's lookalike?

How can Alice stand to see her? The Maria lookalike suddenly smiled at Alice and greeted her.

"Oh, hi Alice! I didn't expect you to be here. Did Dakota and Maggie invite you over?" She asked, puzzled.

"Oh, hi to you too, Catalina! And yes, they did invite me over. Just to do homework and stuff." She replied nonchalantly as if it was no big deal.

"Oh, ok then. You guys can go to either Ashley or Dakota's room then." She said, smiling warmly like Alice.

We walked up the stairs. God, the similarities of this house to the Cullen's was really starting to creep me out.

Ashley suddenly spoke. "We can just go to my room if you'd like?" She asked sweetly.

"Yeah, sure. Wherever you'd like." Alice said, regarding her with a smile.

We stepped into Ashley's room. I could tell Alice wa shocked. It looked exactly like her and Jasper's very own! Although, Ashley was the only one that slept here, since she and the Jasper lookalike weren't really together.

Two dogs suddenly jumped off the bed and into Ashley's arms. Ashley fell back, startled and laughed. Dakota suddenly giggled and asked.

"Is that Marlo and Theo?" She asked, still laughing.

"Yeah! How did they get in here anyways?" Ashley asked, confused.

"Why are you asking me? They're your dogs. Not mine." She said.

"Well, it doesn't matter now. They have to get out for a while because we're not gonna be able to concentrate with these two playing and running around my room." She said with a sigh.

She then put both the dogs down and tehey ran out her room, yipping happily.

"Now where were we? Ah yes. Sorry bout that. They're often in my room." She said sheepishly.

"It's okay." Alice regarded with a smile, although I could tell she was still shell-shocked.

They settled down and did their homework while Carmen, myself and the others just sat there, making small converstion with them. I wonder what would Carlisle say about this now?

I'm so,so,so,so,so,so,so SORRY!!! I know that I'll have to upload more often and that I didn't keep my promise on uploading at June 18, but it's just because I'm so freakin' busy! SO please expect uploads to be quite slow.
