Candy and Gabe stepped out of Gabriel's Land Rover, and walked up to the door of the seafood restaurant. Gabe opens the door for Candy, she gave him a smile. "Thank you."
They walked inside and sit down in a booth together. A waitress in her 40's with blonde hair wearing black pants, a black top and apron walks up to their table. "May I get your drinks?"
Candy looked up at her and smiled. "Sure. I'd like an Ice Water with lemon, please."
"I'll have a coke" Gabe said smiling softly.
The waitress put their silverware on the table with their menus.
"I'll be right back" she smiled before walking away.
Gabe turned his attention to Candy, from the television in the corner. "How is your college admission coming?"
Candy answered excitedly. "Good, I think! I need to schedule a placement test."
