Senseless Love (IFRTD Sequel)

Fifteen.

Candy walks outside wearing a pear of sweatpants and a tank-top with a "Madspeed" hoodie.

She gets in her black Honda Civic and heads to Gabe's house. 

Candy pulls her car into Gabe's driveway. She gets out of her car and jogs up to the door. She softly knocks on the door before slowly stepping inside. 

"Gabriel?" She calls out as she's walking through the house looking for him.

The sound of coughing is coming from the bathroom. She rounded the corner only to find him on his knees vomiting into the toilet. Candy stood watching in disbelief. 

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" She look at him warily. 

He stopped and picked up a towel to wipe off his face. He looked very pale, and weak. The most fragile and vulnerable she had saw him. He sat on the floor and started at the floor, tears begin trickling down his cheeks. 

"I'm messed up." He choked out between sobs.

Candy cocked her head to the side and spoke softly. "What do you mean?" 

Gabriel looked up at her. "I'm not the person you think I am." 

Candy sits down on the floor next to him and places a hand on his back. "You are that person. You're a good person." She says softly. 

He starts to sob. "Things happened... to me when I was a kid. I despise my mother. I get sick at the thought of her or even just the smell of her perfume." 

Gabriel buried his face in Candy's chest. Candy sat shocked as she put her arms around him and held him there. Gabriel tilted his head up and looked into her eyes. 

"I'm sorry for hurting you." She spoke softly a small tear rolling down his cheek. 

Candy smiled softly and gave him a hug. "Babe?" 

He looked back up at her. "Yeah?" 

"Can we go rest in your bed?" Smiled adorably. 

Gabriel got up off the floor wearing his flannel pajama pants and a white t-shirt.
