Our First Song

"Hi I'm [Alias] [Name]. It's a pleasure to be working with all of you today!"

"Tell me [Alias]-san. Rumors has it that you are quitting the show business?" you shake your head, trying to show a fake smile.

"No that's not it at all! My co-workers were just assuming that! I'm just wanting to take a three month break. After finishing my latest drama, I started to realize that show business has been a little too stressful and since I'm only 16 years old, I just want to take a nice fresh start."

"I'm surprised that you chosen now as a time to start your break. Did you know today was the first day of summer?" you had slightly nodded and smile it off. The interviewer beams, looking at you with a surprised expression, "Could it be that you're looking for a summer romance?"

"Well.." you scratched your cheek, looking like the news reporter had hit the spot.

"I didn't think you were that pure, [Alias]-san! Do you have anyone in mind that you want to spend summer break with then?"

"Mostly my friends. I don't have anyone in mind as of right now." you responded, shaking your head.

"Are you guys staying in Japan or out of the country?" she inquired.

"I'll be staying here." you answered, politely.

"Well it looks like we're out of time. This is Teiko News, Riko Aida[1] interviewing, signing off."

"Okay, that's a wrap!" someone yelled off screen. "Good work."

"Good work." you tell Riko.

"Same to you too." After finishing with your interview, you quickly walk out of the door. You start to run to the hallways to go meet up with one of your best friend but just when you were about to take a slight turn, you had bump into Kise[2], who at first showing a smile but then once he recognized it was you who he had bumped into, his smile turn to a frown. You were just about to apologized but you also glared at the blonde, averting your eyes away.

"What?" he asks. "You aren't going to apologize?"

"Why should I apologize to you?" you muttered. Kise's vein pop that you could tell his smile had a slight cringe to it. You weren't backing down. You were about to stick your tongue out but you had caught a glimpse of Kasamatsu[3] and smile in the most cheerful way. "Hi, senpai!"

"Huh?" Kise asks, with a confuse expression crossed on his face. He turns around to see Kasamatsu glaring at the blonde. "K-Kasamatsu-senpai..!"

"It's already the late morning and you two are already at it, I presume?" Kasamatsu asks, scratching the back of his head. You blink, thinking that is your chance to escape.

"Well, see you later, Senpai!" you wave goodbye and started to skip your way to meet up with the peach-haired girl.

"She didn't even say sorry." Kise facepalms.

"Momoi-chan[4]!!" you wave happily.

"How dare you?" she asks, messing with your hair. You laugh, trying to get out of Momoi's grip. She laughs along with you and crosses her arms, "Already starting summer break without me? I have work so I can't hang out with you today!"

"Eh??? But I wanted to go to shopping with you!" you pouted. "By the way, you have your make up kit with you right?"

"Yeah, why you ask?" Momoi looks at you with a strange look, hinting that her make up kit wasn't too far away.
