We Continue to Dream

"I-I'm sorry I'm late." you apologizes, softly. Your eyes were on the wall, sweatdropping, not wanting to meet the red head eye's. Akashi[1] was only smiling with his eyes close. When you glanced at him, you couldn't tell if his smile was fake or not. 

"You're late." he reminded for what felt like the millionth time. The red head then shows his famous gentlemen smile and pats your head. You slightly blushed, feeling happy that you received a pat on the head from the red head. "Well I got some bad news and I got some good news. Which one would you like to hear first?"

"I guess... Good news?" you said with a hesitated look plastered on your face.

"The bad news is--" you quickly frown as soon as you heard the word bad but Akashi smiles, ignoring your expression, "--you won't be able to spend your summer break. I decided to cancel the broadcast that you did with Teiko News."

"Why?" you asks, crossing your arms. You raised your eyebrow as soon as you saw Akashi pull his chair out for him to be seated.

"You are given a role of the main heroine for an upcoming drama." He said as he sat down. You walk up to his desk and slam the table. He quickly continues his talk before you could jump to say anything first, "I know you're upset about this but this drama can really help bring the inner you. I really want to show the whole world to you with this drama."

You slightly blushed, "But Akashi-kun, my break! You promised me I'll get one..!"

"I know. I'm aware of that. Still, I want you to take this opportunity and take this offer. I will grant you permission to let you have you break after this. I promise." he reassures. He puts down a big stack of paper and looks up, "This is the draft of your script. I suggest reading a few pages and tell me how you view it."

You started to skim through the first page, "It mentions tons of kissing but not on the lips, eh?"

"Mm. Your contract still hasn't expired yet. We're still young." he reassures. You continue to read the draft, showing more and interest with every page flipped and beamed as you looked up.

"This drama is way too good to give the main heroine to another actor. I will accept on a few conditions though." you crossed you arms once more. Akashi smiles, drawing his attention towards your enthusiasm. "Can I bring someone to sing the original sound track for us?"

"You have someone in mind?"

"Yeah." you beamed.

"I'll see what I can do." Akashi stands up and kisses you on the forehead. Your face quickly turned to a red-colored apple, backing away from Akashi. "You haven't received your first kiss have you?"

"Akashi-kun!" you yelled, hitting him gently. He laughs, patting your head once more. He then starts rubbing your head as if it was a cat.

"You may go now." You slapped his hand away and puff your cheeks.

"See you later, Akashi-kun." the red head smiles, waving his hand but frown as you closed the door.

"Summer romance was it...?"

You started to head your way to the animation room which was nearby the department that Akashi was working in. For a young boy at his age, you were surprised that Akashi was already given a job of taking care of the whole agency--not to mention that he was your manager. You opened the door in the animation room--dark like usual--the color of the computer screen was on. There was two people in the room and you can guess a few hints on who they were.
