Ari's POV:
"What the hell?! A year?!" Chresanto jumped up. "Yeah, but bae trust me. The doctor said he'll be fine," I said standing up and touching Chresanto's arm gently. "Yeah he will be. I guess dad was right. This trick might just come in handy. What room is he in?" I shook my head "Room 617, but what trick? Roc?"
He was walking to Jacob's room. He opened the door and kneeled by the bed, tears streaming down his face. Then he started singing in the most angelic voice I've ever heard:
I remember tears streamin' down your face
when I said I'd never let you go. When all those
shadows almost killed your light. I remember you
said "Don't leave me here alone" but all that's dead
and gone and passed tonight. Just close your eyes
the sun is going down. You'll be alright. No one can
hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I'll be safe
and sound.
At this point, tears were streaming down Roc's face. He buried his head in the bed sheets. Then the heart rate monitor took on a long beep. As if Jacob was dying. I broke down in tears. Then Chresanto pulled me up "Look," he whispered softly in my ear. I looked at my son who started stirring "Mommy?" he called out. The heart rate monitor returned to normal. "Jacob, baby!" I threw my arms across my son's body. "Ch-Chresanto?" I said in between sobs "H-How did you d-do that?" I broke down some more.
Chresanto walked over and rubbed my back for a minute then spoke, "My dad sang the same song in the same voice when I was in a coma as child. I was said to be in a coma for at least a year." A nurse rushed in "He's up!" she called to any nearby doctor. "Ma'am, Sir? I'm going to have to ask you to leave." I nodded and kissed Jacob's forehead. "I'll be back with your baby sister later okay?" I said looking at him. "Okway," he said smiling a weak smile.
I left with Roc's arms wrapped around me. "How about you come with me?" he said still holding me. I thought about Prince, what he did and decided that he wouldn't give a damn whether I was back or not. "Ummm yeah. When Jacob heals, we're coming back to get him right?" "Yeah," he nodded "and we'll all go out for ice cream as a little celebration." I smiled. I missed this man.
Prince's POV:
Where the hell is Ari?! She should be back with Dahja by now! I hope Chresanto didn't find her because I saw these 'missing girl' posters all around New York. Let me go and check. If he found her, then I guarantee he's gonna want to get Jacob back as soon as possible, but I'm going to get the earliest release date and time and be there an hour early to ensure I get him. This means Ari will come to live with me, for the love of her child and I can finally discard of Chresanto.
Chresanto's POV:
I offered to let Ari stay with me for awhile and she agreed. Then I remembered, I still had Alexadria's tied up ass at home. "I'll come back to pick you an Dahja up, okay?" I said. "Okay," she nodded, shifting Dahja to the other hip. "I sweepy and hungwy, mommy." Dahja said waking up off her mother's shoulders.
"Okay sweetie," Ari smile "I'll get you something." Ari looked up at me "Is there a McDonald's nearby?" I nodded "Yeah, right around the corner. When I come back we'll go." "Okay." She said turning back to Dahja.
I got to the house and untied Alexandria. She had been crying. "Suck it up, bitch!" I took out a gun from the drawer "Look, tell anyone of this and you'll be joining your grandma in heaven. Got it?" She bit her lip and nodded. "Oh, and to make sure," I put a band around her body "I'm putting this device that is connected to an explosive. This way, if you say the wrong thing, I can blow you up. Take it off, IT blows you up. Now go! And be prepared because I might wanna fuck and Ari won't always give it to me."
Alexandria stood up "What about some clothes?" "Hoes don't need clothes because they always seem to be taking them off." I laughed. "Well," she put her hands on her hips "My screwing days are over!" "Are you arguing with me?!" I raised the gun. She flinched at the sight. I sighed "Okay, I might be acting a little cold." I shrugged "Here!" I threw her some old clothes of Ari's. "Thank you." She quietly replied.
