Please read!
It's been a long time my friends, a very long time 😪, but I'm happy to inform you that I'm coming back. I've literally been avoiding wattpad  and dealing with the real world *sigh*. I'm actually not sure where to go from here, this is actually a draft I started writing last year so I don't really remember my purpose. But I'm trying for you! 😌

I remember when I first started on wattpad ( but not with my writing) and I got nearly a thousand book notifications a day from other authors whose books I really enjoyed. Now it seems like all those amazing writers have given up or possibly moved on to greater things, now I'm lucky if a get one, yes one book notification a day and that's makes me really sad. Do you know I haven't been on here since August and I've only gotten about 900 notifications, I know it sounds silly but it makes me want to cry.

I really miss those books I used to read, I thought they were great even though some of you authors didn't believe in they're work. I know this one book I started reading once and I thought it was amazing it was so detailed and descriptive, I was actually wishing I could write that good. Then a chapter later the author said they weren't continuing with their book because they felt it was no good and no one was reading it. I was like
" noooo! You can't do this to me I'll die". I saw that only two people encouraged her to continue and she never did. It makes me think have you ever read some ones book and thought  "wow that was really good" yet you ignore the star button and continue on with whatever you're doing. I'm giving you the challenge to encourage these amazing writers and vote for their work, don't just skip on pass that button. This is how authors are made people and they need your help. Of course some of their work might need done touching up or editing, but doesn't everybody. No ones work is perfect.  Now that might rant is over, on to the story!

Piper's POV

Annabeth threw dresses at my face repeatedly while I begged her to let me go home. Annabeth was usually one to stay away from girly things, and to see her like this was most likely a one time experience.

Annabeth suddenly pulled out a dress and a gleeful look spread across her face. She threw the dress at me.

"Try it on!" She squealed.

I groaned as she ushered me into the dressing rooms. I ran my fingers over the silky material. It was a short dress that stopped an inch above my knees. The top half was covered in tiny gems with a few big ones on the very top and across the waist.

I slipped the dress on and was surprised that I actually liked it. The dark red colour went well with my dark skin tone, and it defined my curves.

"Let me see!" Annabeth yelled from the other side of the door. I slowly opened the door hoping Annabeth like it too. She opened her mouth in awe. "Piper." She breathed while grinning, "It looks amazing! Jason's going to drool-"

I stopped her mid sentence, "What do you mean 'Jason'?"

She slapped her hand over her mouth, before she spoke again. "Piper. You know it's obvious. Jason practically already asked you to go to the dance and I am not letting you turn him down. You're made for each other. Anyway you're pretty much going out with him already." She finally finished her rant.

I kind of smiled to myself. I did want to go with Jason, I can just imagine- "See you're even smiling, you're probably thinking about him. Aren't you?"

I laughed before we began searching for a dress for Annabeth.

Annabeth's POV

I frantically searched for a dress, hoping to find a perfect blue one. Piper helped but wasn't as into it as me. I didn't know really know what I was looking for, even though I just found the perfect dress for her.

I went through racks upon racks until my eyes landed on the shimmering material. It was black in one light with the underlying tone of blue. It was beautiful, one second it was blue the next black.

Piper smiled at me. "What are you waiting for. Go try it on!" She teased, leading me back to the dressing rooms.

I grinned as soon as I had it on. It stopped just above my knees and flared out at the waist. It was perfect.

After getting our dresses we obviously had to get shoes.

Piper got 4 inch black pumps while I wasn't exactly sure. I finally decided upon a pair of 4 inch black peep toe heels with blue bottoms.

My eyes landed upon a set of bangles that matched Piper's dress perfectly, I insisted she get them to complete the look.

Now we were finally prepared for our school dance with the Jupiter academy kids. I don't care if they come because this time I'm going to have fun and there's nothing they can do to stop me.
