Our faces were only inches apart I closed my eyes, just when our lips were about to touch I heard a loud thump and we quickly pulled apart. We were both blushing like madmen. That certain thump turned out to be Percy, he had tripped and fell down the stairs. Piper got up to see Percy sprawled out across the floor his only response was-

"Ow".

'Seriously Percy 'I thought 'just when I was about to kiss piper you had to fall down the stairs'.

"Sorry to interrupt".

Piper was blushing a deep crimson as she glared at Percy still laying on the floor.

I was feeling a bit awkward as we were sitting on the couch Percy obviously in between me and piper. I was a bit upset that I finally got the courage to kiss her when Percy came tumbling in.
There was a long awkward silence between us all until piper finally spoke up.

"Well we should start on our project" she said. I was a little relieved that we didn't have to sit in anymore silence.

We were just about finished our project and Percy asked if I wanted to stay over for the night so I said sure.
It was pretty late now.

"Hey why don't we finish this tomorrow" I said cause I was pretty tried.

"Kay" was all she said back.
