Courtney's POV

"Wait, so Pan wants us to team up with him and those little bastards??" Angela and the Girls asked, not very happy with the news. Immediately, commotion arose and it was frustrating me. I lifted my hand, quieting them all.

"I understand that in the past, they haven't been the kindest neighbors, but instead of quarreling, we could give this a shot and actually work together to protect Neverland." I said. "But hasn't Pan betrayed people in the past? Do we really want to walk into this death trap, Courtney?" Joanna asked, and everyone began agreeing with her. "Yes, he has, but I believe that everyone can change." "Not Pan. He's selfish and arrogant." Dee replied. "Yeah!" The Girls shouted in unison. I sighed, knowing I'd be getting nowhere with them. But then, why was I really trying to convince them? For my own pleasure? For Pan? I wasn't sure, but I was tired of fighting, so I felt it was only necessary to agree so that we didn't have to anymore.

"Girls, could we please just consider the option?" I asked, which brought on yet another uproar from them. "Wait...Why do you want to join with them, Courtney? Is something going on between you and Pan?" Kae asked and instantly a wave of questions about my love life were being shot at me. I raised my hand, quieting them. "I can assure you, there is NOTHING going on between Pan and I." But wasn't there? Wait, was there? "Pan brought this to my attention. He's tired of fighting just as much as we are. I thought you'd all be happy because now you won't have to worry about the Boys ruining our camp again." Silence filled the camp for a moment before a familiar voice broke it. "It would be nice to have peace in Neverland, yes Girls?" Pan said, walked up behind me. "Courtney and I didn't think that it'd be right to agree unless you ladies were okay with it. Right, Courtney?" He wrapped his arm around my waist, further rousing the Girls' suspicions that something was up between he and I. I wasn't even sure anymore.

"Pan..." I hissed through gritted teeth. "Yes, love?" He whispered in my ear. All eyes were on us and I squirmed, trying to get out of his embrace, but he tightened his grip. "Do we all have a truce? We'll share the island, Boys and Girls?" The Girls shared confused glances before nodding, unsure of what else to say. "Perfect. I'll go inform my Boys and we shall celebrate our truce!" Pan squeezed me before letting go and walking back the way he came. I closed my eyes until I could no longer hear him before opening them, seeing several eyes glaring at me, surely many questions were swimming through their heads but I just couldn't answer them. "Don't ask. I don't know." I turned to walk towards my hut, needing to think. "Carry on with training." I shouted, the sound of angry muttering becoming distant as I walked on.
