Courtney's POV
Pan, the Boys, Girls and I all hurried to Skull Rock, somehow managing to fit into a few small boats and crossing the sea to get there. A large green cloud was surrounding the landmark and growing bigger every second.
We entered the mouth of Skull Rock, but Pan stopped us once we neared a set of stairs. "We can't all go up there." He said. "Why not?" Angela asked, and everyone else joined in, but Pan raised his hand, ceasing the commotion. "Zelena would be expecting us all to go in there to stop her and we don't need casualties. Besides, Courtney and I are the only persons aside from Zelena that have powers. We're the only ones who have a chance at fighting her and stopping her plans." "But wouldn't she be expecting you two as well? Doesn't she know about your powers?" Felix questioned. "I'm sure she does, but I'm not letting you lot come along. I don't want the deaths of innocent people on my conscience." Everyone stared at Pan as if he had three heads. "I'm not the same Pan I was before, okay? I'm not going to let anyone die because of me. You're staying here and Courtney and I will go up and fight Zelena. Understood?" Pan said forcefully. The Boys and Girls nodded and Pan turned to me. I followed behind as Pan and I ascended further into Skull Rock in hopes of stopping Zelena.
Third Person's POV
"Am I the only one who feels like, now that Pan and Courtney have admitted their feelings for each other, we'll be outcasts?" One of the Lost Boys questioned. "Especially since they've both got powers and none of us do. We could have helped them defeat the Wicked Witch." Another said. "How, you imbecile? That's exactly why we couldn't go. We don't have powers. Pan and Courtney can handle the witch." Devon replied. "Courtney's changing him. I don't know if I like it." Another Boy said, and a few Boys agreed with him. "Is it wrong that she is?" Dee asked. "Wouldn't you rather have a leader who would fight to keep you alive than one who'd let you die?" Joanna replied. The Boys shrugged. "Pan is doing the best he can to keep us all safe. Why are you complaining?" Felix questioned them. "Courtney is as well. And now, together, they can protect us all. No more battles. No more hating each other." Lexi said. "We can all share Neverland now." Gee finished. Everyone agreed and waited for Pan and Courtney.
Courtney's POV
"Zelena!" Pan shouted, seeing the Wicked Witch near a small cauldron on a table. "Oh, I see you rescued your little girlfriend, Pan. "But I'm afraid you're both too late. My curse has already started and soon, Neverland will belong to me, and you all either have the choice of being my slaves, or I can kill you and put you out of the misery that is to come once it's done." She smiled mischievously. "You can't have Neverland, Zelena. It belongs to us. You're intruding!" Pan said, fury overcoming his features. "But wait, I thought Neverland belonged to her? Didn't you give up ownership, Pan?" Zelena took a few steps closer. "It belongs to me, but we're all going to share it. Although you are not allowed here, witch!" I replied. Zelena laughed. "Well that's too bad, but you see, I don't need your permission to own Neverland because I'm taking it. I've waited years for this opportunity and I'm not just going to let some silly lover girl take my chance. Pan doesn't own it anymore, so now I do!" She smiled and turned to walk back to her cauldron. I conjured up a fireball in my hand and threw it at her, but apparently she expected it because she disappeared in a green cloud and my fireball missed her. "Nice shot, but you'll have to do better than that, dearie." I heard Zelena say behind me. Pan and I turned to face her as she raised her hand. Suddenly I couldn't breathe and my body was being lifted from the ground. Zelena was choking me without even touching me. "Put her down!" Pan yelled at her, conjuring up his own fireball and throwing it at her. It hit her in the chest and she screamed and doubled over in pain, releasing her grip on my throat and I fell to the floor. "Courtney!" Pan rushed to help me as I coughed, trying to catch my breath. "I'm okay. Don't worry." I squeaked out hoarsely, rubbing my throat.
