Applejack's POV
About ten seconds after Dash fell asleep, the cop came back with a stretcher. Her uncle picked her up and placed her on it. We followed the cop to the ambulance. As I get in, I see Mr. Dumbbell being arrested. I grin, seeing the red lump on his head.
"So Applejack, I guess we should get to know each other, shouldn't we?" Her uncle asked. "Well, I'm Applejack. I'm also your neighbor apparently." "That's interesting. I'm Soarin, Rainbow's uncle. So what happened?" I repeat what Rainbow said. He puts his head in his hands. "This is my fault. If I didn't insist that Dash see the counselor, she would be happy and fine right now." "Mr. Soarin, it isn't your fault. You wanted Dash to be free of worry and the counselor was a bad person." "Thank you, but one question. Why did you run into the room? Not saying you shouldn't have, because I'm eternally grateful you did." "Vice Principal Luna told me to. I'm glad she did. Whatever happened to Dash when she was younger, I know she didn't deserve it. Rainbow is intelligent, kind, athletic, and beau-! Did I just say that out loud?" I check to make sure Dash was still asleep. I wave my hand in front of her face and she doesn't flinch so, I guess she's still unconscious. He chuckles. "Don't worry. I'm glad someone else cares for her besides me. I know she trusts you. She gives her trust to few people and when she does, she trusts them with all of her huge heart." I give him a grin and blush a little.
We arrive at the hospital and get out they rush Dash into a room. We head for the waiting room and sit down. I check my phone and see a war going on in the group chat between Rarity and Twilight. About if Rainbow and I like each other.

Prissy: they so like each other
They're smitten kittens
Twi: no they dont
we dont even know if their doors swing that way

I reply with:
Apples: this is the group chat guys

Rarity's gonna get it.
What feels like five hundred games of fruit ninja later
"Anyone here for Miss Dash?" Her uncle and I stand up and follow the nurse to a small hospital room. Inside sits Rainbow, on her phone. Her left leg is in a red cast. "Oh, hey guys. Wanna sign my cast?" Dash states nonchalantly. I grab the sharpie from the nightstand and write my name and a smiley face towards the bottom of the cast. Just as I was about to ask, Dash said "I'm feeling ok, but am mad at Rarity and pretty happy with Twilight." "You saw the group text, didn't you? Pinkie added you?" "Yep, and time for a prank." Dash said mischievously. I grin.
About ten minutes later
I dialed in Pinkie's phone number. "Applejack, hi! What's going on?" "Pinkie, are all the girls in the room? I have bad news." I try to sound like I had been crying. "We're all here, darling. What's wrong?" " Well, Rainbow went into a coma. It's a sixty percent chance that she won't make it. Can you guys come over to the farm tonight? It's just, Dash has filled a spot in my heart and......." I hear a bit of sad mourning. "Yeah, we'll come over. Bye Applejack." Twilight hangs up the phone.
As I get off the phone, Dash's uncle walks in with a nurse. "You're free to go, Miss Dash." says the nurse. I help Rainbow get onto her crutches and we walk out of the hospital. When we first got to the hospital, Mr. Soarin had called a taxi. Since those things take forever, we were outside waiting for it for five minutes after Rainbow got released. He finally pulled up and we got in.
We drive to the farm and run upstairs. Well, as fast as you can get on crutches. As soon as we hear a knock, I hand Dash the dragon mask and run downstairs. "Hi girls. Let's go upstairs." I say depressed. They follow me upstairs and we sit down on my bed. Sunset gives me a hug and I tell her to go downstairs with Fluttershy and Twi to get so snacks and drinks. As soon as they leave, I give Dash a small sigh as a cue to come out. "Rawrrrr!" Rainbow sneaks up on them and yells. "Ahhhhhh!" Rarity and Pinkie scream running out of the room as Dash and I start laughing. Everyone comes back upstairs and Rarity is SOOO mad. "Good one, AJ, Dash." Sunset said, giving us high fives. "Wait, everyone except Pinkie and I were in on this. Why only us?" Rarity asked. "Well, for you, it was because of what you texted in the group chat." Rainbow said while glaring at her. Pinkie explained how she was in on it, she just wanted to be scared.
After an hour of joking and playing games, the girls had to go home. Flutters drove the uninjured ones home. I walked Dash to her door. "AJ, thanks. I've known you for two days and you've already done so much for me already. I want to repay you. How about tomorrow on the farm?" "It's a date!" Bad choice of words. "Uh, ok see ya." Rainbow said flustered. Was she....blushing?
I walk towards the farm and head inside.
