Brenda went to her bedroom after a long shower under some smoky hot water. She lied in the center of the bed and started to sketch out some drawings of random things ob her sketch pad. The rain clattered against her french doors, causing a relaxing sound echo in her bedroom. She hummed and tapped on the paper as she thought of things to draw. Thunder and lightning began in seconds, startling Brenda a bit. She chuckled and shook her head as she started to draw dark figures on her sketch pad.

She drew figures for about five to ten minutes until there was a knock on the door. She groaned and put on her dark purple slippers as she stood up and walked to the door. Her slippers made a dragging sound as she walked to the front door. As she opened the door, the cold breeze his her face, creating goosebumps all over her body. She looked around and saw that no one was in front of her door. "Hello?" She looked around in confusion. She looked down at the ground and found a white envelope with a red dot on the front. She picked it up and looked around once again before heading inside.

She sat on the couch in the living room and looked at the envelope. There was no saying who it was from or where it came from. She slid her finger under the flap and opened the envelope, not giving a care if it ripped or not.

Inside the envelope was a paper. "A letter?" Brenda said out loud to herself. Thunder roared loudly and the rain came down harder. A flash of lightening occurred and a human figure appeared at her back door, then disappeared right afterwards.

Brenda looked at the letter and opened it, leaving her curiosity to the side. But this wasn't a letter. It was just two words.

"October 13." She read outloud, thinking anyone else was going to hear her.

"What the hell?" She gasped as she looked at the red dot on the bottom of the page. It was still wet and bled through the envelope. She sniffed the paper and gasped, dropping it on the floor.

She grabbed her phone quickly and called one of her closest friends that she trusted.

"So like, is this the mysterious envelope that was sent to you?" Jenny asked as she picked it up from the ground.

"Y-yes." Brenda stammered and took deep breaths from time to time. "Is this...?" Jenny paused as she took a moment of silence and examined the red dot on the envelope and paper.

"Blood." Brenda answered with a whisper. Jenny also read the letter and made a confused look as well.

"October 13? What does that even mean?" Jenny asked and sat down on the couch. Brenda also sat on the couch next to her friend and stared at the letter.

"Maybe its like a joke or something. I bet its that boy Harry who is punking you. I think he knows that you like him." Jenny raised her eyebrows at her friend.

"But why would Harry put blood on paper?" Brenda asked and sat back, sighing. Jenny shrugged her shoulders and sat back as well, looking at the T.V. "We should just ignore this and watch some cartoons. I mean, who doesn't love the Teen Titans?" Jenny joked and grabbed the remote, turning on the T.V.

"Breaking news, today is the nth annual day since Hannah Jones, a teenage girl, went missing. People say that she was kidnapped but others say that she ran away. I'm here with her sister, Crystal Jones." The reporter said.

As Jenny was going to switch the channel, Brenda stopped her and turned up the volume.

"So Crystal, when did you notice something strange happening to Hannah?" The reporter point the mic at the younger lady next to her.
"Well it all startes when she got repetative mail that said the same thing over and over again. It said only two words and had a red dot on the bottom of the page." Crystal explained. Brenda gasped and looked at the envelope that was exactly the same as Crystal explained.

"What did this letter say?" The reporter asked. A moment of silence occured and Crystal cleared her throat before she spoke.

"September 13."

"Thats the day she went missing." Jenny gasped and looked at Brenda.

"Jenny, do you know what this means?" Brenda spoke with her voice cracking.

"That we need to go get some pizza cuz I'm starving?" Jenny questioned. Brenda sighed and slapped her friend on the back of the head. "Oww!" Jenny groaned in pain.
"I'm being serious here Jen!" Brenda said.

"Ok, ok. No I don't know what this means." Jen said rubbing the back of her head.

Just as Brenda was gonna say something, another knock on the door occurred. The girls gasped and breathed deeply as they stared at the door. Brenda gulped and stood up, making her way to the door. She took a deep breath and opened it, revealing another envelope with a darker red dot. Brenda whimpered and picked up the envelope and looked at it, closing the door afterwards.

"Another letter?" Jenny asked and watched Brenda sit down next to her, with a blank expression. "I don't want to open it." Brenda whispered and placed the white envelope on her lap.
"Then I will." Jen said and grabbed the mail and ripped it open.

"What does it say?" Brenda asked nervously.

"October 13." Jen read.

"Jenny! Its the same thing that happened to that girl Hannah. Don't you see!" Brenda said loudly in panic.

"So what! Its just a date." Jen sighed.

"This date means something." Brends said and grabbed the envelope from her friend.

"Its probably a coincidence." Jen shook her head, knowing that she was wrong.

"No its not." Brenda sighed.

"Something or someone is coming after me." Brenda added.

"Just like Hannah?" Jen asked.

"Yes." Brenda sighed.

"October 13, the day I will go missing." Brenda whimpered.
