Chapter Three: I'd Go With Green Tea

The next day...

"That's great, Kotone! Yuzu said.

"Yeah, I just wish they stop giving out yakisobas for free." Kotone said.

"What, free yakisobas are the best!" Yuu said.

"*Yawn* Hey guys." I said, sleepy.

"Oh, now look who's the sleep freak." Yuu said.

"Yuu, I couldn't even sleep last night. I was thinking of ponies last night." I said, sounding really dumb.

"*Snickers* Ponies?" Kaede said.

"Ponies? Why were you thinking about ponies?" Yuu said.

"I don't know. It just came into my mind." I said.

"You have one heck of a brain, Haruka." Yuzu said.

"So, about the school dance." Kaede said.

"I'm going with Kotone all the way! Whoo!" Shikuzu said.

"*Blushes* Yeah." Kotone said.

"Well, I'm going with Haruka." Yuu said.

"Mmm-hmm!" I said nodding.

"Guess I'm gonna have to go with Yuzu. *Sighs*" Kaede said.

"Is that a bad thing?!" Yuzu said.

"Well, it is a couple's dance after all." Kaede said.

"Rrrrrrg!" Yuzu groaned.

"*Laughs*" Me, Yuu and Shikuzu laughed.

"So hey, the dance is tomorrow. You guys got your dresses?" Shikuzu said.

"Yuu-chan and I are coming with the same dresses from the wedding." I said.

"Yeah, we're not wasting any more money." Yuu said.

At 5:00pm, we we're in the classroom, again.

"I don't know, Haruka. Tomorrow is our green tea girls night out. Are you gonna skip?" Yuu said.

"Hmm... I wanna see who gets to be queen bee, but I don't wanna miss green tea girls night out." I said.

"Well, let me give you some time to think about it." Yuu said.

She then started walking away. I then grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"Yuu, wait." I said.

I closed my eyes and kissed Yuu. Yuu then closed her eyes.

"I wanna go with you." I said making her smile.

"Really?" Yuu said.

"I'll do anything for you." I said.

We then kissed again.

The next day at night, Yuzu and Kotone were dancing, and so were Shikuzu, Kaede and Mitsuki. But Yuu and I were not there.

"Yum! Green tea sandwiches are the best!" Yuu said.

"(Thinking) Who created green tea sandwiches anyway?" I thought.

"I don't know. But these sandwiches taste delicious!" Yuu said.

"*Yelps* Did you read my mind?!" I said.

"No, that person over there asked me that who created green tea sandwiches." Yuu said pointing at the person.

The person waved and said: "Hello."

I then smiled.

"So where shall we go now?" I said.

"Hmm... Oh my gosh, an arcade!" Yuu said pointing at the arcade.

"Ok, let's go there!" I said.

"Whoaaa, this place is awesome!" Yuu said.

"Except from the part when they put too many disco lights." I said.

"Let's go play some games!" Yuu said.

"Ok!" I said.

I cashed in 5 dollars and we got 20 tokens.

"Let's make these tokens last, Haruka!" Yuu said.

"Ok!" I said.

We started playing a dancing game that we we're really good at when we were 12. It's called Dance Dance Revolution. Haruka missed and aciddently tripped with me.

"Yuu, are you ok?" I said.

Yuu kissed me and I started post-kissing her.

I then smiled. We got up and holded hands, then we left.

"Tonight was awesome." I said.

"Yeah. It was." Yuu said.

"Oh no, we're gonna be late for the queen bea thing!" I said.

"We can still make it on time!" Yuu said.

At school...

"Where are they? They're about to announce who's gonna be queen bee." Shikuzu said.

"And the queen bee of this school is..." The announcer said.

"We're gonna make it!" Yuu said.

"Jump!" I said.

"Haa! We both said while in the air.

"-Son--" The announcer stopped after seeing us in the floor.

"So who's the winner?" I said.

"I was about to announce the winner." The announcer said.

"Oh." I said.

"The new queen bee of this school is... Sonoda Yuu!" The announcer said.

"Huh?" Yuu said.

"Yuu-chan!" You're the new queen bee!" I said.

"I know!" Yuu said.

"Yuu-chan! Yuu-chan! Yuu-chan!" Everyone yelled.

"Wow, that was so unexpected!" Yuu said.

"Yeah, I didn't expect you were gonna win!" Kaede said.

"Yeah, and she did it!" I said.

Everyone stayed quiet for a while.

"......Anyone wanna play?" I said, with a token on my hand.

"Yeah!" Everyone said.
