Chapter Eight: The Popular Red Haired Girl

I started walking down the school corridor with a notebook in my arms.

A girl I didn't know came to me and waved me hello.

"O'hayo, Haruka!" The random girl said and passed right by me.

"Huh? How does she know my name?" I said.

I kept walking.

Two anonymous girls stopped me and smiled.

"Hi Haruka! Do you want to hang out sometime?" The girl on the left (my left) said.

"We're really bored!" The other girl in the right said.

"Well, let me think about it..." I said.

"Aw, come on! We're so bored!" The girl on the right said.

"Hmm... Alright. Let's hang out later!" I said smiling.

"Awesome! By the way, my name is Poppy and this is my friend Mia." The girl in the right said.

"Hello." Mia said waving.

"Ok. My name is Haruka. Nice to meet you two!" I said smiling.

Poppy and Mia giggled.

Poppy looked at her watch.

"*Gasps* Oh no! We're gonna be late for class!" Poppy said, looking at her watch, surprised.

Poppy grabbed Mia's arm.

"Sorry for rushing! Bye!" Poppy said.

"Whoa! Bye!" Mia said.

I waved them goodbye.

I turned around, smiling.

"I should be heading for class too." I said, smiling.

I went to my classroom.

I opened the door.

"Ōhayo!" I said.

"Hello Haruka." Yuu said.

"Huh? Where's Kotone and Shizuku?" I asked.

"Kotone is sick and Shizuku is taking care of her." Yuu said.

"Aaaaw! That's nice!" I said.

Yuzu entered the classrom.

Yuzu looked at me and Yuu.

"Oh? Hey." Yuzu said in a cute way.

Later...

We went out of the classroom.

Poppy and Mia appeared with many other girls.

"We meet again, Haruka! Mia and I told our friends about you, and here they are!" Poppy said.

Poppy introduced me to her friends.

I smiled.

All of the girls, Poppy and Mia started laughing and walking.

We walked away from the classroom.

Yuu saw us.

"*Thinking* I wish I could hang out with Haruka today, but it looks like she's having fun." Yuu said, smiling.

I laughed with my friends.
