Fighting Poison with Poison

A/N Warning, do not follow any of the medical procedures I talk about to stop aconite poisoning  

Elsa's POV

After the man stabbed me with the needle, Jack broke into the room followed by my father and his parents. But I didn't feel right. I felt really hot, I couldn't breathe properly and my throat was burning. I was struggling and whimpering in the hospital bed until Jack came to me.

He brushed away some of my hair and stroked my cheek, "you're gonna be fine Els. I promise."

I whimpered and shook my head. I have a few minutes, hour at most. I felt a tear slip down my cheek. My hands ground their way to Jack's hoodie and I crumpled it in my hands wishing for the pain to go away.

"Stay with me Els. Please, I just got you back." He chocked brushing away one of his own tears, "I can't lose you."

"J....Jack?" I gulped trying to get the words out, "I.. I'm s....sor...I'm sorry." My throat was burning and I didn't have any moisture in my mouth, but I had to finish, "I love.... I love you."

I heard my father gasp at my words but I needed to get it out. My breathing became very heavy and I felt like I was going to be sick.

"I think I know what we can do!" Jack said quickly. But I could barely register his world when the world finally turned to darkness.

Jack's POV

"I think I know what we can do!" I cried happily, but my excitement left me when Elsa's eyes began to droop. My eyes widened and I ran to the nurse, "there are two things we can do. 1, inject her with  antiarrythmic drugs to fight of the aconite, or 2, we can stop the blood flow in the arm and clear the blood from the poison."

They all looked at me in shock. "what? I used to learn about medical stuff."

I looked through all the drug compartments but couldn't find anything. What hospital doesn't have the simplest drugs. So we have to go with option number 2.

"Adgar, hand me your belt. Father I'm gonna need a small surgery knife and anesthetic and mother, find a microscope so I can reverse the aconite."

Adgar handed over his belt and I tied it tightly around Elsa's arm. This would make it harder for her infected blood to travel her body. My father handed me the knife and anesthetic and I rubbed it on her arm  before slowly cutting her arm with the knife. My mother came in moments later with the microscope.

I placed it down, got a sample of Elsa's blood and put it under. Her blood cells were trying to fight of the aconite cells, but they were losing. And since they didn't have the antidote....

Wait!

"Dad! search the room for aconite and search for a poison as strong as it.

"I found something. Hemlock!"

I smiled and grabbed a liquid version of it. I took out a syringe and took some of it out. I turned to Adgar.

"Do you trust me?" I asked him. He gulped, but nodded either way. I took a deep breath and injected the Hemlock into Elsa's arm.

You see, sometimes, you fight poison with poison. They will balance each other out and destroy each other. I turned around smiling as Elsa's breathing and temperature became normal again. Adgar ran to his daughter holding her cheeks in his hands, my father patted me on my back. But my mother was no where to be seen.

Huh. I guess it's nothing.

Adgar turned to me.

"Thank you Jack. Thank you for saving my princess. I'm so sorry about what I did to you and Elsa. I hope one day you can forgive me."

I smiled and held out my hand for him, but he just pulling me in for a bear hug. I saw my father doing his best not to laugh.

"Frost, thank you and your son for saving my daughter. I don't know what I can do to ever repay you."

My father and Elsa's pulled each other in for a bro hug, "I'm just glad you didn't have to lose your child Adgar. I know how it feels." My dad muttered the last bit hoping I wouldn't hear. But I did.

What the hell?

But the thought flew away as soon as Elsa opened her eyes.

"Jack?" She said in a soft voice. I ran to her and enveloped her in a hug.

"I love you." I whispered in her ear.

"I love you too Frosty." She said and pulled me in for a kiss.

I felt tears drip from my cheek and Elsa brushed them away, "I thought I lost you Els. Again. You gotta stop doing this to me." I said smiling.

"Can't promise anything Frosty."

Adgar made his way over to use and sat next to me holding his daughter's hand, "Elsa?"

"We'll leave you two alone for a minute." My dad said walking out the door. I followed him, but not before smiling as Adgar hugged his daughter.

Mrs Frost's POV

"YOU IMBECILES! THE LOT OF YOU! YOU CAN'T FOLLOW A SIMPLE TASK. YOU HAVE ONE MORE MONTH!!!" I screamed down the phone to Hans, Pitch and Faciliar.

Pitch started to speak "Ma'am, it's not our fault your son got in the way, if you really want her gone, you need to take your son out of the equation and I think I have an idea-"

"Pitch I swear to god if you harm my son I will not hesitate to end you." I threatened. No one touches my baby. No one!

"No ma'am. I'm just thinking....... A distraction."

"Tell me more."

"For now, let's just say SHE'll be here tomorrow."

And with that, I hung up. Tomorrow should be fun.
